I have owned a MT2 and HT2, currently have a nomad 6. Imo, there is no point to short stroking the MT2... just put 1-2 size larger volume reducer in it, and run 28% sag (instead of 30-32%) and voilla, you have essentially the same setup. I personally wouldn't under fork it, mostly because SC bb's are pretty dang low already(one of the main reasons I like them so much, so I don't think this is a bad thing). So I'd do something similar with the fork, either put a 10mm shorter fork on it, and use a 10mm lower...

Although I totally agree that Mavens and TRP's are awesome, I would highly recommend the Hope T4 V4's if you're looking for an amazing brake with loads of spares available. If you can get your hands on a Vivid coil, I would pick that over the DHX2 as the Hbo and touchdown is amazing

Can't wait to spend another $1000 in tools just because they decided to change a bolt pattern or a diameter somewhere for no reason.

Nice Bronson, and with 160mm cranks! 😍 Too bad someone decided not to put a coiler on it. 😭 PS: why are we excited about the packaging of the shock internals?

I was in the 1st pre-order batch that shipped on12/31 and arrived via UPS four days ago. I obviously have a lot more riding to do before I can pass any judgment but the initial experience has been great. The most comfortable flats I've ever tried.

I am not saying 155mm cranks + Pendulums are the tittays, but 155mm cranks + Pendulums are the tittays. 5ft9/32in. For me, the biggest difference between 155 and 160mm cranks is the saddle height.

SLX and XT are both available in 165mm, but I don't think anything shorter than that works on the Shimano direct mount chainring standard. Hope uses their own standard. Canfield uses the old SRAM 3-bolt style chainring. Ethirteen uses its own standard. Appleman is traditional 4 bolt. 5Dev uses the SRAM 8-bolt standard. SRAM makes 155mm NX and X1 cranks (I think they're intended for kids bikes) but obviously those aren't compatible with Shimano direct mount rings. [Editor's note: NSB also makes 155mm cranks, using cinch standard chainrings, and RF just released 160mm cranks, also on the RF cinch standard...

I have about 200km and 10,000M of vert on the Void pedals and they've been incredible so far mountain biking in the snow/ice/slush. I fat bike a lot and usually wear snow hiking boots with deep lugs for warmth. The Voids with have been the grippiest pedal I have for that kind of footwear. I used to swap between clipless and flats but for the first time I don't feel like switching. Lack of an axle really makes the foot sink in and lock in place.

Voted cups because it simplifies frame manufacturing and gives you some recourse if you end up running a loose headset and beating up your bearing.seats, but agree with the above...both work fine its not a purchasing decision.
