7/29/2025 7:36am No, the two shocks are in parallel, not series. Having them in series would make it half as stiff. Having them parallel makes it much stiffer still.

7/29/2025 7:33am I think these Chinese mushroom brands are going to be a source of entertainment for a good long time to come. The product image on the website shows one Flight Attendant and one Base shock, which is even more weird.

7/29/2025 7:32am The single review on the site is something to behold: " Blulans? Mor like BluAwesome! S11ULT a bit more expensive than a handful of bikes but this is carbon fiber and you know what that is to mean: top of the notches and the best buck bang on the market area. I have one in my dreams and in the garageway I are many reasons for superior performance. Firstly is one shock and then another shock. The response is overwhelming. For the number 2 reason is the Blulang legacy and industry leading excellence. If you are familiar with Role Royce...

7/27/2025 4:08am The fork may flex during use, but if it is binding that bad unloaded it will have a negative impact on performance. I found the PUSH 9.1 to have a tight bushing fit initially, and as such it had more feedback through the hands and was difficult to get into the last 30mm of travel. After the bushing fit was corrected, performance was noticeably improved. With all the same settings on the same trails the fork now gets within 10mm of bottom and is much better on the hands. It would be very interesting to see if any of the...

7/27/2025 4:04am Full qualifying/seeding results from Hardline - big congrats to Lou Ferguson who becomes the first woman ever to complete a full top-to-bottom run at Hardline Wales (following up her success at Hardline Tasmania where she and Gracey Hemstreet were the first women to complete that course in 2024). As per usual, any rider who completes the course whether in practice or training should be able to ride in the finals, regardless of seeding results. Note that finals are now at 3am PST (12:00 CET) on July 27, the event has been moved forward in the day to account for inclement...

7/25/2025 1:59pm Hard disagree. IMO, if you watch Hardline like a WC DH stop, you're going to be disappointed. If you watch is a more of an event than a race, and include all the practice and pre-race footage, it's fantastic. You get riders from all over the spectrum. Fast, really fast and WC winning fast, but also freeriders and trick riders and old heros. You get women who are pushing their limits and progressing the sport. Yes, at the end of the day, it's a race, but it's not about individual riders or teams or points. Everyone is walking the track...

7/25/2025 1:55pm Did a bit of Instagram investigation and it looks like Francesco Pardal is currently in South Korea, at Yongpyong Resort (or around that area) the same place that hosted the Winter Olympic Games. He’s there with a few other guys, and from the looks of it, they might be scouting for a new downhill trail. Could this be a new venue on the 2026 race calendar?

7/25/2025 4:07am this thread is so hilarious and educational that we turned it into an Inside Line. @TEAMROBOT, @Jason_Schroeder and I go over some of the best here, discuss some of our own and have a blast doing it. thanks so much to @seanfisseli for starting this and everyone who contributed. let's keep it going!! one i've not mention has do to with quill stems. twice when i was a kid, my handlebars fell off. once in a bmx race and once on a 10-speed hauling through a crusty asphalt parking lot. my dad didn't realize that the quill bolt was as...

7/25/2025 4:03am My 2c after three months / over 500 miles on the Essential: it feels almost too good to be true initially, but the performance of the fork doesn't degrade over time and as you get used to its slightly different feeling (and a longer offset in my case), it just rides better and better. I too have had problems with hands going numb and the Essential is giving me the best riding comfort of all forks I've ridden so far without sacrificing performance and stability.

7/25/2025 3:50am Posted a comment on the other site, but this statement is pretty shitty " If you placed an order before July 15th, please note that—due to legal regulations—it may be part of the restructuring process and will be reviewed individually." No, YT, you made the choice to prioritize short-term cash flow by screwing over customers. There are well-established legal options for protecting customer payments from becoming part of an insolvency estate. You could have used an escrow or trust account from the outset, structured payments to transfer only upon delivery, or at the very least paused sales and issued a...
