7/30/2025 11:03am Honestly, nobody really has a lifetime sponsorship deal... Your sponsorship will only last as long as the company sees value in what you are doing... So, if you aren't getting coverage via race or contest results, you'd better get good at being a content creator...

7/30/2025 5:18am Unfortunately not yet, other than in the driveway. There are a few other projects to take care of first, but soon! There are some slight updates between forks; the brake hose guide is now a compression molded carbon piece instead of simply being cut from a carbon plate, and the rebound knob is bigger and easier to turn. Compared to the Edge, the Flash crown is larger and has more overlap on the legs.

7/29/2025 3:18pm Well just wanted to share some results on some tire durometer measurements that I have collected of some of the more popular tires in my collection. Method: All tires were measured while sitting on a flat plate of steel to provide equal and consistent backing support. Nothing was measured mounted. I measured the Maxxis brand new out of the box and again after this weekend's Boondocks race at NorthStar, no change was detectable in the results, so I just added the miles that I was at after measuring yesterday. All measurements were an average of 3. The hysteresis of the...

7/29/2025 11:47am Good result, good event, but the wales hardline for me has lost its shine. For me it has become the leogang of Hardline, I’ve watched that race track so many times now that every year looks the same, time for a refresh! More tech more awkward like Rachel eluded to in the Wyn Tv video.

7/29/2025 7:46am Press-fit is not the problem, bearing press-fit is a worldwide industry standard.(your linkages are.... press-fit...) The issue has ALWAYS been the Frame. Press-fit "hole sizing' Is a perfect way of telling If your expensive botique Frame is actually good quality With the Brand Giving a sh1t. I've worked on some seriously expensive Road Frames and the damn hole is not even round - There are alot of expensive frames that a go, no-go Guage Can slide into easily or expose gaps around it. I've personally Checked My own Press-fit holes, if out of whack ill warranty the frame and try...

And I just it it's hard to understand because like you know in my eyes like I feel like I should be able to you know finish World Cup racing but still be associated with the industry...

7/29/2025 7:42am He's undeniably a far better rider than I’ll ever be, and this isn’t a critique of his skill on the bike—that speaks for itself. That said, I have to disagree with what you’re saying. He’s consistently criticized almost every bike he’s ridden since the original Mondraker. More notably, he’s the only rider I’ve heard go on a podcast and openly tear into multiple former sponsors' equipment—sometimes even gear that’s still on the market. Most riders might, years later, say something like “that wasn’t the best race bike,” but he goes as far as to call bikes sketchy or unsafe. That...

7/29/2025 7:37am I'm going to take a moment to lay out a real tech based reason that a dual shock bike could be useful. Not because I think it's where this bike was going and not because I necessarily think it's a good idea. Just for the fun of it. Each shock has its own leverage curve. You could use this to create an effective leverage curve anywhere between the two by proportionally changing the amount of support you are getting from each shock. Let's say one leverage curve was 30% progression and the other was 10%... you could alter how each...

7/29/2025 7:36am No, the two shocks are in parallel, not series. Having them in series would make it half as stiff. Having them parallel makes it much stiffer still.

7/29/2025 7:33am I think these Chinese mushroom brands are going to be a source of entertainment for a good long time to come. The product image on the website shows one Flight Attendant and one Base shock, which is even more weird.
