5/31/2026 3:44am Here's something neat, came on a DH Rallon. UDH direct mount Shimano saint derailleur. Not sure if orbea is the one making this or Shimano but interesting to see.

5/31/2026 3:42am "So, you're telling me that Pivot came all the way to Golden Colorado, a mere 1.5miles from Yeti's HQ to telemetry test one of their bikes?"

5/31/2026 3:40am Haha, yeah that was me! I saw it again two weeks ago, it was full of telemetry devices this time. I asked when it was coming out and the guy tried to tell me it was a Pivot this time 'round. Can't imagine how it doesn't get released later this summer/fall as a '27 model considering how tidy it currently looks and the fact they are riding it at high noon on the most popular trail network in the Golden. Might need to just post up in the bushes with a camera next time...

5/31/2026 3:39am I feel like photos of this caliper have floated around on here before, but it's a nice close-up. It's paired with an XTR lever... I am really hoping that new Saint brakes are released this year.

5/31/2026 3:36am Quad 214 is the change on the air piston for gen 1 Mezzer. Makes the fork better at small bump, I have had it for several years on my Mezzer forks and like it. I do replace the 214 with a new one at each service, have experimented with a more resilient material on that ring (same size) than straight Buna rubber which seems to hold up better as far as replacing it less often. https://www.theoringstore.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&pr… these guys. Have been using this one as well - https://www.theoringstore.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cP…

5/31/2026 3:35am It's not, thankfully, Blister has a photo of it on their review below. It looks like it's a short spring (5mm) that preloads the piston to get it moving https://blisterreview.com/gear-reviews/manitou-mezzer-mezzer-lt-gen-2

5/31/2026 3:34am I had heard rumors they were going USD on the v2, guess those weren't true. Still, sounds like some changes to the air spring (spring backed? is this like DVO / SR Suntour's spring negative they used to use?) and damper (wtf is air backed bladder?). Love the polished crown, though. The prototypes were fully polished and looked awesome, cool to see them at least partly return to that

5/31/2026 3:31am Have not noticed any significant drag on my OneUp hubs but keeping that in the back pocket as an excuse the next time I'm last up the climb on a group ride.

5/31/2026 3:28am This already happened... the original rims were branded Santa Cruz. They then switched to Reserve branding.

5/28/2026 4:47pm The World Cup lands in the familiar setting of Loudenvielle, France for the 2nd round of DH in 2026. The Europe-based race means that getting new bikes, parts, pits and products to the venue is a lot easier than round 1. That means plenty of craziness to peep in the pits. photos by Rick Schubert Antidote Solutions' AS05 bike - Learn all about it here.
