Love the concept and futuristic integration, but the inability to adjust the bar tip/angle seems like a massive loss in setup. For me just a few degrees off can be the difference between a great day and lots of arm pump. I'm sure it lets them tune the ride quality a bit further, but it still seems short sighted, especially at what will undoubtedly be an astronomical price.

What a pile of BS! Failed first round antibiotics, pus coming out of the wound, treated as indicated for the second round, and he gets a suspension for it. Not all that surprising from UCI, its not like its a road event in Europe or anything. EWS says sorry, out of our hands?!? Cmon guys, you're not looking good right now...

So what the hell is a rider meant to do if they get hurt at EWS this weekend? What if they are in a really bad way and need urgent help, are they responsible for getting a TUE, submitted and approved before being given the help the could be considered life threatening? Are they meant to be considered coherent enough at all times to scroll through the list of banned substances to double check a doctors work at the time of injury and probably intense pain? Absolutely mind blowing stupidity on the UCIs part

@tmano2 that's a pretty loaded and dangerous accusation to be throwing around about a professional athlete simply based on your feels and not one shred of factual evidence. There an interview with Jerome Clementz and a few others in VeloVert this past winter that posed the question of Richie passing Oton as you mentioned and not one racer thought it was a big deal... For one, no PED work that way. You don't get superhuman powers and at best it is small marginal gains. Even Jerome blew it off as Richie seeing his closest competitor in front of him and...

As cool and inspiring as the racers are, that Mechanics podium are all-time squad goals. They may not be the coolest dudes at the bar, but when the apocalypse hits I know who I want around me. Thanks Vital for celebrating the crazy/creative minds behind the machines. For us shop guys its always inspiring to see their work/process up close. Please continue with the detailed pits coverage.

First I've seen of it. Looks way more refined, and I imagine stiffer and lighter. The solid dropout/brake mount is a big improvement. And it looks like they've finalized the pulley location after the last few years of testing on the team bikes.

Funny thread. Go through some of Vital's RAW videos and you'll see a recurring comment to the tone of "why do you guys speed this up? Its so LAME". Lol. RAW isn't sped up, and 99% of the videos people are questioning, too, aren't sped up. A few riders might have sped things up at some point, but the big point the original poster is missing is nobody is going to reward this beyond the dopamine infested "like train" of Instagram. That's the only payoff. No company is going to go "wow, look how fast this no-name rider looks, better...
