Also, if it's my money, I'd much prefer to buy an Aluminum DH bike over Carbon. soon as I saw the new Norco, I felt like the chainstay in particular had an uncanny resemblance to the Canyon. Overal, I feel like the two designs are very similar. I like the Norco. I like the demo. I like race bikes and I ride them to about 80 percent of their ability when I’m at 1000 percent of my own, with my kids, making shapes in the park. We get to ride factory race bikes on Saturdays at home. And they don’t try to kill us like moto gp bikes or super mx bikes. Pretty neat. I’d quickly have a norco team DH and know some dads that jumped for the demo - right after we balance a check book, throw some at the Roth, make sure the honeys SUV payment is made and move a couple old kids bikes they grew outta. Real talk. Race bikes are funnnn asssss heeeehck.

Lazer helmets should be releasing an update Cage pretty soon. They're at the very least updating the pads in the helmet, but I haven't seen it in person yet

He has been riding that frame for years. It's not a 'new Transition'. Given where he was working at the time, a Diamondback proto/final test sample makes a lot of sense. They probably pulled the plug on production as the bike market started to collapse.
Not to beat the new Saint 12sp chain dead horse but I think we saw not one but two possibly career ending crashes at Whistler because of chains snapping. Both on SRAM, which uses the T-type 12 speed chain I think? Why are we not using the beefiest chain possible for 7 or 8 speed drivetrains?

IMO chains break because of improper set up or using terrible chain lube that is barely better than running it dry. Modern chains are extremely strong and no, narrower does not equal weaker. So I don't think people should be breaking chains that easily in 2026 but I would put money on it being user error, not manufacturing
