Back in my day we used to tie onions to our belts, it was the style at the time.
I might have been a little harsh on the guy initially. Watched a Loam Wolf video where Drew gave him a brand new pair of shoes from 5-Ten. His riding shoes had holes worn all the way through…
Well knowing that generation of product and how stiff a lot of that stuff was maybe its good he doesn't put any weight on his hands.

Sure, I get why they're doing it, but am i missing a link/connection on the inside of the pocket that the actual pedalling forces are transmitted through to the larger ring? Is the mini ring just basically a jockey wheel/guide? I just have a hard time getting my head around the tiny ring standing up to Bruni's probably 1800w sprint without skipping...
I'm thinking the primary drive is internal.. That small cag seems to be there for the chain to roll past the primary crank spindle. If you look at the black cover on the prototype pic, I'm pretty sure the primary drive is in there..
No Forbidden E-dreadnought ?
That's all logical, but it looks like an awful lot of shit to cram in that (what looks to be) an extremely thin space...
Anything on that new Revel (Ranger I assume)? I quite like what I see on that one photo over on PB
If you go back a page there's pics of what's inside - looks like it's driven off that tiny crank mounted cog to me.
There looks to be plenty of room inside on the drive side.. I didn't see a Pic of the internals..
Well, that mystery seems solved already then...
Some of these were easy, but some of these were HARD. I forgot Rachel passed Anne Caro for most wins. 39 is incredible.

Hold my baby…
Good point on the raw slalom track being safer. Understeering a 4ft tall berm is a good way to end a season
Just a heads up, that first pic is the GR hub, which I confirmed with e13 is the older Sidekick.
Good catch. Thanks for the heads up. Just fixed it.
Brembo's decision to not fill the brakes because "they don't do that for car brakes" is the most Italian reasoning I can think of, so I would fully believe that
I forgot about all the american world champs apart from Herbold and Mike King....soz to all the Americans here😅
Now this is the type of journalism I am here for 🤙
Mountain bikes should be designed to ride offroad not whether or not they fit on a bike rack. Now you can have geo for going fast and/or for being jibby, etc. BmB has gone down the dirt bike geo road even if he didn't initialy base it on that. He has been testing the limits and seeing what works and what does. He has done what most brands have never had the courage to do. You can only respect him for that.
The rest of the industry has been slowly changing geo for decades and selling it with a ton of marketing BS. There are brands that still claim to have balance geo on all of their frame sizes and yet the difference in CS size between S and XL is 5mm!!!
Now it might not be your thing and that's fine. I personally won't ride a bike with chainstays under 460mm or stems longer than 20mm. Nonetheless, I don't think we should ban longer stems or short chainstays.
Dying over here. My thoughts exactly.
went for a sunset pedal in the park across the street last night—had to take a sub-optimal route because I saw a sea otter number plate. It’s like wearing the still off-gassing concert T over last tour’s shirt you wore in. Like, I get it, but dude come on! Full agree on the number plates WTF
I bribed a parking guy with a cinnamon roll and he gave me a front row spot in that exhibitor lot…it was only set-up day, and he told me he’d do the same on Thursday, but the lines of cars in and out—even at 15%—were enough to call it.
I am so bummed I didn’t get a pic of the guys pouring the anti-freeze slurpee whatever into the brown pond, that would’ve been rad.
Forgot the most important part of the media pass: Air conditioned Port-a-potty's. The most lavish of thrones. They even had a gold plated one. Because 'merica.
Also, how bad ass is Jill K? Every time I see podium photos of her NOT on the top step, she looks soooo pissed. That hunger is real. If I were racing her, Id consider not winning just so she didn't kick my ass afterwords. (Important note to Jill: Not saying I could beat you anyway). She's such a boss.
Brembo told a friend of mine "they didnt have time to bleed them". Could the bleed process really take more than 5 days? Italian....so maybe?
Alright so no race/number plates on after the race. Can't agree with that more take that thing off ASAP. But what about the blank number plates every Supreme V5 kids runs year round to display all their Deity stickers. That can't be ok either?
Since we are what-abouting.....im honestly more concerned seeing the XC/gravel/road crowd walking around all day in the same chamois they raced in that morning. Some unsuspecting chamois wearer is going to brew up covid 2.0 doing that shit.
Oh you gotta get out of your riding gear ASAP, and that's whether we're talking XC, DH, whatever.
If you're doing it right your riding gear at a race should be gross, and you should want to get out of it.
