Rode Deity Supracush for the last 3 seasons, never wanted to go back to anything else. Bought the Megattacks and didn't like them so much a first on the Slayer, so I took them off until I needed some grips on a temporary e-bike I rode. Going back to the Supracush, I felt them... slim. I like them both, not sure which one more.

I recently also put a pair of ODI Rogues on the e-bike and I like them quite a bit.

Deity Supracush FTW. I consistently come back to them on all my bikes, I just really like the compound and the thickness is spot on for me. They tend to wear out semi-quickly (and they don't love wet conditions once they do), but I'll take that to get the awesome comfort and grip while they last. If you need a THICK grip, you should really try the Megattack, same excellent compound in an even thicker grip.

This is the first i'm hearing of the Megattacks. I might have to try and track a set down to compare to the meaty paws.

I ride Odi Rogue grips gloveless and I love them.

Great damping, take a long time till they are worn down.

I also liked Esi Chunkys for their damping, but they wore quickly and if you crash, they tear easily.

Another Reflex XL user here, tried a bunch of thicker grips and these hit the sweet spot.  Ergon GA2 Fat were the previous go to but the Reflex XL has a bit more cush.  Used to run ESI Chunky but they pack out too fast and I experienced some palm bruising as they are soft enough where you can get to the bottom of the grip during some, ahem, chunky riding.

I recently switched from Deity Megattacks to Ergon GXR (large) and am surprisingly happy. The ergonomic shape of the Ergons made me realize how much I don't really like a round grip, no matter the diameter and they also feel much larger than the 34mm spec would lead you to believe.

^ With that being said, the Ergons also made me realize how much I hate installing "slip" on grips... they're worth it though.

ODI Rogue - they're a classic for a reason! And they're available in the new single clamp lock on, which is great. I can run my hands a little farther toward the end of the grip now.

Odi Rogue for me. Durable, great damping and on the thicker end of the spectrum - all with great feeling of steering control. Have a pair of Odi Vanquish on one bike as well but they are nowhere near as great damped as the Rogue.

Went back and tried those Esi Chunky efter using Rogues for many years and they felt numb and really vague in terms of steering. Worst thing i've tried is Oury, way to soft so ending up clamping to hard and getting fatigued. And they broke after that first ride as well so I couldn't sell them.

I have a friend who works in our local bikeshop who asked me to give him my first set of Supracushes, which was kinda worn, but still in OK shape. This was 2 years ago, he still runs them and loves them. He recently gave me the Rogues to test and said that if I have other worn Supracushes, he's patiently waiting for them. Deity is a brand that is sold by the other big shop in our town. I think I don't need to add more.

I have been enthusiastically vocal about the Supracushes since I run them; I sometimes have the feeling of having pretty much singlehandedly pushed these grips in our scene and think I'm hereby entitled to free grips from Deity from here to eternity, but I should probably stop kissing my own ass, because so much contortion hurts.

Next grips I'm trying are the ODI Dread Locks, Tinker Juarez' signature ones!

Was on Meatypaws for a few seasons but am rocking three layers of electrical tape beneath Swayze slip ons now. I'm not super OCD but that one little rib and the star pattern on the inside of the MPs kinda drove me nuts when rotating after a bit of wear. The tape is kinda neat because you get to choose your thickness, and as the grips wear in it conforms to your hand a little bit. And the Swayzes have the same uniform pattern throughout.

I got some schwayze slipons.  Might need to try that.  👍

Yea this.  I’ve been on reflex xl since they came out but switched to the vanquish.  I’m normally a fat grip guy and I’d call these medium but damn they’re good.  I didn’t expect to like them based on size and pattern but they are now my favorite.

I'd prefer 5mm more width and a more stealthy color option but yeah my arthritic hands appreciate those grips even on the rough asphalt commute to the trailhead

Alright, large hands and been a meaty paw user since day one of them. Only grips I have cared to use. Had some early protos with softer inner plastic and that was SO nice. Thankfully, they moved production ones that direction. Not quite as soft but still great. They do great wearing in and getting grippier.

That said, anyone as big of a fan but also ended up trying another large grip and enjoying them? big thing being that I ride gloveless! Recently became aware that the ODI Reflex comes in XL now- similar sized to meaty paws. The pattern feels good (buddy has some thinner ones I felt).

Just curious!

Diameter of the Ergon GA2 Fat was just right, but too soft/squishy. Went down to GE1 Evo. It works

34mm RF Chesters. Was a Death Grip guy since they came out, until the launch of the new Chesters. Can't live without them, they have lasted a long time as well. The ENVE Fractal's are not bad either, a bit more frim than the Chesters but feel a fair amount thicker even only being 1.5mm on paper larger.

Been on the Spank Spike 33 grips, they have the length and girth my hands are comfy with.  I ran the Sensus Meaty Paws until my grip strength whisky throttled and broke the inner plastic sleeve.

Simple dark horse thick grip option that I've fallen in love with this year is just cutting the core out of any old lock on grip, then sliding your favorite push on BMX grip over it. Ends up around meaty paw thickness but softer, longer lasting, cheaper to replace, and maybe more street cred?

Stuff like this is why I love this forum, as a proof of concept I had a set of Reverse Components Seismic lock on grips that I used for less then a month, ended up falling in a chute and the silicone part of the grips got cut up pretty bad. Ended up tossing them into my toolbox and kind of forgot about them. Had a set of Wolftooth Karv grips kicking around, swapped them on with some iso and compressed air, ended up being about 33.5mm dia. I will definitely be trying some push on grips next time. Cheers!
