5/25/2026 5:24am Well this is certainly testing my memory first thing on a Monday morning. The early years were a smattering of department store bikes then after trying to mod a department store bike I finally saved up enough scraps for a real bike frame and as the saying goes, it was all downhill from there. 2003 Norco torrent with a Jr...

5/20/2026 5:24am The fork settings for the Zeb seem close to what I am actually running. The rear shock spring recco is about 100 in/lbs too high compared to what I actually run (when using a fox or rs coil) and what my go to spring rate calculator says. I typically use the spring calc for coil rear shocks that is on...

5/1/2026 8:58am You're west coast, I'm east coast, I'd say we've got room to swing our elbows. But if there are any tall forum members in the middle they best be watching out though!

5/1/2026 8:53am Easy now. There's only so much room for 6'7" forum members around here. I don't want to be bumping elbows all the time. Survey completed. Though a few answers were awkward since I'm a former rider due to MS.

5/1/2026 5:47am Hi, I'm a high school student in Squamish BC and currently taking an entrepreneurship course in which we have to propose a business idea. My idea is called ProParts in which we will sell new and used excess gear from sponsored riders on consignment. So far we have commitments from a few local dh riders to take part. As part of the course we have to send out a survey to the riding community to gauge interest. I hope you can take the time to fill out the form and help us out. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSegpo2ACBxbiXq9r73oHTfyWqQTutV… Thanks, ProParts

5/1/2026 5:47am I just finished up paperwork for a highschool co-op student at my work, always great to see students actually engaged. I don't tend to buy used gear as at 6' 7" tall there aren't many options. But I filled out the survey for you!

4/10/2026 4:33am This is the first i'm hearing of the Megattacks. I might have to try and track a set down to compare to the meaty paws.

4/10/2026 4:31am Deity Supracush FTW. I consistently come back to them on all my bikes, I just really like the compound and the thickness is spot on for me. They tend to wear out semi-quickly (and they don't love wet conditions once they do), but I'll take that to get the awesome comfort and grip while they last. If you need a THICK grip, you should really try the Megattack, same excellent compound in an even thicker grip.

4/9/2026 8:52am I’m a meaty paws guy but i admit I’m interested in trying the new ergons. Though I like that meatypaws are also longer than most grips. Great for anytime you take a hand off a Bar or if your brakes are fading and you need to change to a full grip to get something.

4/8/2026 11:46am I am also a large handed person and was running ergon thicker grips until I found the meaty paw. That has been my go to for the last few years. I tried the OneUp thick grips and hated them.

2/26/2026 9:42am That Fluid Focus piston is actually a PUSH piston that we used to sell them as part of our DXH Factory Tuning Kit. I've seen that piston offered by a couple of independent suspension tuners that we used to sell to. Once we stopped offering those types of products, a number of tuners took the parts to local machine shops and had them reverse-engineered because they already had all of the valve codes to go with them.

1/21/2026 10:11am Hi, long time WC media guy here (14 years long).. I'm also very curious to hear some names and facts about this from you But in the meantime let me share some of my own. Each team is allowed to register photographers and videographers (each team then receives a set number of photo and video bibs for the season). if someone doesnt work for a team they can register as independent media once they have letters of assignment from a verified media outlet. there are little to no restrictions as to what can be shot/posted. This hasnt changed since the...

1/6/2026 5:26am As someone who was there from the very beginning (okay EWS #2), I think the story arc of EWS/EDR is a bit more complex that people think, and that Chis Ball is not the boogie man some make him out to be. EWS was not just Chis Ball, it was a run by a board, with Chis as the most public facing member of the organization. Keep in mind that in 2013 enduro racing was seen as an exciting new sport (yes I know, it wasn't new in France and Italy) and the timing was perfect with new wheel sizes...
