I also read 52 books last year! Well, I didn't exactly read each book all the way through. But I read the title on the spine, and if it sounded promising, I looked at the pictures on the cover and read the rest of the book jacket.

It never even occurred to me to wash or that people wash their shoes. I wear them and toss them in the back seat on the floor. If they are muddy they go inn the back of the truck until they dry then I bang the mud off and back to the back seat.

As many of you know, I had been working on a Strava alternative that I planned to launch this spring. Unfortunately, I had to put it on pause. It’s still something I want to build, but after digging in further, I became less convinced it could pay my bills anytime soon. And realistically, raising outside capital for a non-AI consumer product with Strava as the entrenched incumbent felt close to impossible. The good news is that the amount of capital required is probably far lower now than it would have been even a year ago. Frontier models have made product...

Well this is certainly testing my memory first thing on a Monday morning. The early years were a smattering of department store bikes then after trying to mod a department store bike I finally saved up enough scraps for a real bike frame and as the saying goes, it was all downhill from there. 2003 Norco torrent with a Jr...

The fork settings for the Zeb seem close to what I am actually running. The rear shock spring recco is about 100 in/lbs too high compared to what I actually run (when using a fox or rs coil) and what my go to spring rate calculator says. I typically use the spring calc for coil rear shocks that is on...

You're west coast, I'm east coast, I'd say we've got room to swing our elbows. But if there are any tall forum members in the middle they best be watching out though!

Easy now. There's only so much room for 6'7" forum members around here. I don't want to be bumping elbows all the time. Survey completed. Though a few answers were awkward since I'm a former rider due to MS.

Hi, I'm a high school student in Squamish BC and currently taking an entrepreneurship course in which we have to propose a business idea. My idea is called ProParts in which we will sell new and used excess gear from sponsored riders on consignment. So far we have commitments from a few local dh riders to take part. As part of the course we have to send out a survey to the riding community to gauge interest. I hope you can take the time to fill out the form and help us out. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSegpo2ACBxbiXq9r73oHTfyWqQTutV… Thanks, ProParts

I just finished up paperwork for a highschool co-op student at my work, always great to see students actually engaged. I don't tend to buy used gear as at 6' 7" tall there aren't many options. But I filled out the survey for you!

This is the first i'm hearing of the Megattacks. I might have to try and track a set down to compare to the meaty paws.

Deity Supracush FTW. I consistently come back to them on all my bikes, I just really like the compound and the thickness is spot on for me. They tend to wear out semi-quickly (and they don't love wet conditions once they do), but I'll take that to get the awesome comfort and grip while they last. If you need a THICK grip, you should really try the Megattack, same excellent compound in an even thicker grip.

I’m a meaty paws guy but i admit I’m interested in trying the new ergons. Though I like that meatypaws are also longer than most grips. Great for anytime you take a hand off a Bar or if your brakes are fading and you need to change to a full grip to get something.

I am also a large handed person and was running ergon thicker grips until I found the meaty paw. That has been my go to for the last few years. I tried the OneUp thick grips and hated them.
