Signs point to “trail bike” but the Levo PR piece on PB makes me think it’s a new Levo? I guess it’s a trail bike, maybe they’re delineating eebs and analogs? But then again the stumpy PR pieces ran a long time before the launch if I’m remembering correctly…
The other bike we’re waiting for is the short travel 4 bar. A new “Camber.” Seems like that’s the space that is left open in their lineup currently.
Rumors point to the 18th being a firmware launch for the Gen 4 Levo. MOAR HRSPRS.
As for the 24th, the grape vine is whispering about a lighter weight Levo. Same motor and batter, lighter part spec, revised kinematic, travel, and frame for a bit more lively ride.
something new in a few days from Propain too, not sure what from the insta post
some new levo r that is supposed to replace the levo sl
Tech rumors goldmine, 100mm cranks, backwards stem, custom links/swingarm and the best part is when Reece is asked about trying coil shock he bites his tongue super hard haha
Till Alran on the wireless DH groupset from Sram now. Although still not on the flight attendant suspension. Sram are launching something "DH" on the Monday after the Christchurch Crankworx. We've seen the updated Boxxer Ultimate with the Linear XL feature. But my hunch is that they'll launch a full electronic Dh package. Flight attendant Boxxer, Vivid and the wireless groupset. Thoughts?

I’m not one to normally comment on an e bikes looks.. but the battery on the current levo is excessively large, so large in fact that I can’t bring myself to want one. If they make an SL option and opt for a slimmer 600w battery they would be on my list to try.
still curious on the 38/40!
Same
I’d hope they finally drop some weight on those 38s
Your are on a good path!
From another forum there could be quite a few things coming from Spesh on 24th both motorised and non motorised.
I'm interested to see this light Levo. My preference would be a new front triangle with a fixed slim 600wh battery. I think it's interesting that the removable 600wh battery never really materialised after launch and I wonder if it suggests there was a pivot at some point with the standard Levo having a less than stellar reception.
my guess thats an answer to the amflow situation, i had several customers who were interested in the levo 4 up until they learned about the weight
Even the reviewers at Pinkbike noticed the front to rear balance was off. Normally I ride an XL or S5 in their range. That’s a 435 chain stay on a 1286 wheelbase for a e-bike that I’m wanting to climb all the things on. That 1.956 ratio is not going to be great at that without an xc race setup on the front end. I would want a 1235 wheelbase to be in the neighborhood of decent balance in that bike.
And don’t get me started on the geo chart for the Levo 4 and how it’s so obviously wrong. What is this, 2010?
While 435 is short, it still makes sense on steep trails and for a playful ride. You can always go to 444mm via the flip chip and while those are definitely not the longest stays there is nothing to rage about. The geo is slightly conservative, but far from 2010. Don't make a mountain out of a molehill.
They are actually going backwards, ebikes happened to be 450mm+ for the chainstay length for years
...but lets not derail the conversation too much...
The reason for that was a space limitation from the motor side and not because they wanted longer chain stays in first place...
The newer dh bikes seem to be moving towards 460 chain stays. This idea that short stays leads to more agility doesn’t make much sense to me outside of bmx/dj riding. Being active on the bike and being able to push into it with weight (traction/grip) on both wheels does make sense to me.

Come on over!
I think you can go to 446 its +11mm adjustment. Which for a medium sized bike works well or me. That gives me a sub 1.80 ratio but for XL I could see you not being happy.
I know! It was a tongue in cheek kind of comment...
Sorry it doesn't go trough that way...
I don't know if this should go here or in the ebike thread.. With Tippie now on Aventon, he teased a new trail bike coming... Another source is calling it a potential game changer...
39er mullet proportional chain stay crab master race!
Any intel on the new Norco? We’ve seen the frame, and there’s a Shimano/fox 36 build kit shown on their site… what other rumors are floating around?
There's a water droplet in the teaser. New Fluid?
New Fluid - https://www.norco.com/bikes/mountain/trail/fluid-fs/26-fluid-fs-a1/
That's the existing frame
Does look really similar, linkage and front/rear proportions all look like that… I thought it was an Gen 4 Sight frame in the video, just an old one they had knocking around but there’s definitely something new, or new-ish coming this week.
Whatever is in the teaser image with countdown on the homepage has high pivot. Also looks a bit wide in downtube, so maybe an e bike.
The pivot was cut off on my iPhone, but I see it now. E-bike might explain the extra cable coz it looks like wireless shifter 🤷♂️
Where You See a Countdown?
Pivot will Release a DJI Bike soon, with 160/150mm Travel.
