Now that I’ve looked at the new bottle rocket a bit more, it could be that. The brake mount looks right, the placement of the bottle cage matches, the shape of the top and downtubes are very similar, I’m pretty sure it’s a straight 1.5 headtube, and unlike other transition bikes I don’t think there are external brake lines. The one thing that’s getting me is the rear dropouts- they look sharper than transitions, though it may be the longer dropout option. They look closer to the haro Greer, but I don’t think that has a 1.5 straight headtube.

Please, someone argue against this.

I didn't think the tubing and cable routing looked quite right, BUT, the Transition website is currently under maintenance, soooooo... maybe? Updating something? Ha ha

I don't want it to be Ari. But there are some signs. Also they have money. Desire to expand to Europe and UK. Like Freeride. Understand social media. No UCI teams for any sport tying up millions for Road, Gravel, XC or DH. They make prototypes all the time.

They are from the great state of Utah. You do the math on that one. Joseph Smith was born in Vermont. His manifest destiny was to inspire others to build the greatest bike brand of all time in the valley. Taking no prisoners on the way.

Why couldnt brage get a brand to make him a signature frame of his spec, like a bmxer would,  Is that a thing in mtb ?

To be fair he scribbled out his suspension, drivetrain and brakes... Not too many alternatives to SRAM for the lot...

There are custom frame builders that work mostly in steel and titanium, but once you add rear suspension it becomes a lot more time consuming.  I think Atherton is the closest to a well-known brand that will do custom geometry for you, but their manufacturing methods are uniquely suited to that kind of thing.

Check out MTBMA on IG and YouTube. He is a big fan of Ari and also used to film the Vital Gearbox openings every other month.
Bring those back, could be another way to make raw videos a thing! Once a quarter maybe?

He’s not marketable that’s why. None of the free ride guys really are. They are sick sure…but for the average Joe it’s not selling bikes.

Remy is on Vorsprung suspension. He will pretty much be the R&D rider behind developing a Vorsprung fork. Awesome stuff I reckon'.

Also that rig is a absolute stunner.

Still a RockShox chassis, as it still says charger on the stantcion.  Is it just internals for now?

Tey're just starting.

At the moment he is on the Telum and the Secus for the mtbs, on the ebikes he will use the Smashpot. He can run basically every chassis and damping cartridge available on the market. Put on some Vorsprung stickers and maybe a Secus and or a Smashpot and he's good to go.

He's also saying in the video that there will be a lot of content about the development of the Vorsprung fork. I am definitely looking forward to that.

In all fairness, in terms of the ultimate flex for frame durability, sponsoring Brage should do it. He's a big dude & frames have to endure nightmares upon landing.

Unless GT sent him so many frames, he was snapping and swapping easily, their frames endured hell under him during this run of edits he's been on. Brutal.

re: Paul Couderc on full SRAM/RS, makes me think about Fox Factory and how big of idiots they look like for going full racer elitist and banishing all their non-racer riders to Marz

like I get boosting the Marz roster to help with the brand revival was a necessary move, but now they just look like assholes for not giving riders the ability to adjust anything besides compression as if there's literally no benefit to being able to consider other suspension variables. sure many freeride/DJ applications don't need the full racing engineer capabilities that a DH WC rider utilizes, but even my neanderthal ass can tell the difference a few clicks on HSC, LSC, HSR, LSR, etc. makes on my daily ride. the new super Z feels like fox is saying "okay here's a few more clicks to mess around with but still fuck off and deal with it peon"

Could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that Marzocchi and Fox forks have very similar chassis sizes so that the racers and other pros can just run Fox guts in their Marzocchi forks.

Oh for sure, I just ordered a grip 2 for my Z1, but the image/rider segmentation is still blatant based on stanchion color. Also if I was a Marz-sponsored pro and having to secretly get Fox bits added to my components to get the performance I need, I'd feel like I was false advertising

Very intersting things about Vorsprung. They have definitely competence.

Another teaser reel from Brage. Any idea what it could be? Something metal, not carbon, so Santa Cruz or Cannondale (ruling out PON options) and not Forbidden. Based on the headtube junction and tube shapes, I don’t think it’s a Trek, Devinci or Mondraker. No shock mount on the downtube, so I think that rules out Spec and Zink.

Really similar shape to an Airdrop Edit (kinda leaning that way, if I was guessing) except the brake mount is a different shape.

I wanted to think Bottlerocket, drops don’t match.

Ari’s shocks are all pointed wrong.
Berrecloths bike is Orion high pivot 7 bar.

He’s gonna ride a rossignol Heretic. And get paid.

I'm not sure the tube shape, cable routing and head tube junction are the right shape, but it'd definitely be an interesting move.

I'm still kinda leaning towards Airdrop as the closest frame I can find to match what's in the teaser. Not perfect, but haven't found anything closer so far.
