2/20/2026 4:29pm There is, depending on the bike, some ability to adjust reach and stack with a headset (and stem), but that’s not a ton of adjustment. Definitely something like to see more of when there’s a wide gap between sizes.

2/11/2026 6:19pm I dont think this has been answered, but ignore if it has: how much do you actually rotate your fork when going fast? I know I do rotate, but I’m also leaning the bike over and steering with my hips. I’m pretty sure that I don’t turn more than 45*, but 20*? 10*?

2/7/2026 5:20am So after a decade on shimano brakes I’ve got some cheap db8s in the mail. I’ll definitely try them as is and likely switch to mtx pads at some point, but I also have a set of maven bronze levers. I’ve seen a lot about using the maven calipers, but had anyone swapped the maven levers over?

I’m snagging a set of db8’s on sale, and I have some maven bronze levers laying around. I’m tempted to try maven lever/db8 caliper eventually. Any experience with this?

1/26/2026 11:17am looking at the top tube, cage bolts, and rear dropouts, it could be a transition patrol or spire. I’m not convinced that it is though. Strike that, the headtube area looks different than the patrol/spire, and even the bottle rocket isn’t quite right.
