The image suggests it's still Shimano. I'm not sure the Bosch gen 5 system lends itself to making a quasi SL version the same way the Shimano system does. What is interesting it that it looks like it has an electronic dropper power directly from the bikes main battery which is cool.

last time i checked, wires have, like cables, 2 ends and are probably plugable
Axle mounted on chainstay vs seatstay also. They had to put caliper there to keep the same Anti rise as the current bike
I don't think the anti rise will be the same as the old bike as they have essentially inverted the whole linkage, so the brake is on a different "bar" now, it probably won't be different in a way that matters or is perceptible to us mere mortals.
I think when I tried to recreate it in linkage, the main big difference was that it lowered the initial leverage rate, which is something a lighter rider like Loris would probably benefit from.

haven't heard anything, but it wouldn't surprise me if they eventually made the switch. I guess the concern would be compatibility between models, or rather incompatibility. i'd guess they'd probably launch a next gen dominion / dominion 2 to avoid having parts from each model being mixed up (seals, pistons, etc) but carry over the design features that make it such a good brake.

They have both seatstay and chainstay pivot options since basically the beginning of the V5 platform. Not much new here in that regard.
