Where is Jack Moir? No Sam Hill either... retired?

Jack is listed on the YT Mob team page.

Nice catch!

I wonder why, it's pretty unusual for folks to leave/not get renewed isn't it?

I happen to be friends with one of the first Red Bull sponsored mountain bike athletes, at that time, you were considered a Red Bull Athlete for life.  My friend still gets Redbull helmets to this day and she hasn't raced professionally for almost 20 years.  I have no idea if she is still compensated or just considered a sponsored athlete.  I think once there began to be a lot more RB athletes they went to the more traditional "contracts" with specified lengths and could be renewed.  For example, I think Brook Macdonald just announced a few weeks ago that his RB contract was renewed.

Berrecloth was on Red Bull early and was off as of a couple of years ago. Anthony Messere was only on RB for 2 or 3 years. FWIW Bearclaw said "...it’s time to pass the torch to the next generation and hang up my @redbull helmet." Not sure why he would opt for less sponsorship dollars if indeed it was his choice; maybe he switched to water?

I heard a rumor that Cube would have a Factory supported XC squad, with 3 riders. Bart Brentjens KMC Team getting support from Ridley and potentially adding a young Canadian talent to the roster.

Gunnar Holmgren - was confirmed some time ago. I thought he'd end up on Trek, the same as his twin sisters.....

Good to hear, obviously I missed the official announcement..

Now we just need an announcement as to where World Cups can be streamed in Canada.

Bell Media or Rogers should do a deal with discovery to stream content in Canada 🇨🇦

The CBC has become unrelevent. when I grew up, CBC had tons of sports , now nothing

Pretty sure Lacondeguy gave his RB helmet back too.

I tried to look for the deadline to register a team for 2024, but had no luck. Does anyone know if that has already passed for the 2024 season? If not, when is it? Maybe Gwinn has his own team that he just hasn’t registered yet so that it won’t get announced ahead of his timeline?

Redbull recently posted a reel of RR with POV footage by Seth Sherlock… Sherlock is on an intense. There have been a few mentions of Seth and Gwin remaining together. Although SS post a month or so back seemed like he left the team and AG response indicated a parting of ways.

Anyone know if Sherlock will be back racing or is he finished? Haven’t heard anything regarding a team for him.

Per the PR on the other site he's racing Psychosis...

No listing for Gwin, Hill or Sherlock on UCI site.
Are privateers required to list if not on a trade team?
noticed Gaetan Vige with propane positive that’s a good pickup for Phil.

No nukeproof SRAM enduro team listed . Am I right in remembering from previous years you don't have to be listed as a UCI team to race world cups ?

Interesting to see Adam brayton and Wyn masters listed with other riders in teams , I wonder if groups of riders have got together to share paying for team status to ensure entries without UCI points .

Riders, especially those not based in Europe/GB have for the last few years pooled some cash and created a team to do exactly that.

Getting points when there are limited UCI Cat races in Australia, New Zealand and Nth America makes it difficult to get entry into a World Cup with out being on a team or being selected by the riders federation to race with a national jersey.

Outlaw United form Canada is the perfect example of this https://www.uci.org/team-details/19976

Wyn Masters on the Italian Gravity Cartel Rogue Racing team managed/owned by Leonardo
Pedoni, which looks like a group of privateers pooling there $$ togerther. https://www.uci.org/team-details/20024

"Team" mates with the Denim Destroyer Davide Palazzari. Edit: Davide is not the Denim Destroyer. My mistake.

There goes the rumor that he would be managing a privateer team.

What are the odds that on Groundhog Day AG releases that he is still riding for Intense?
