Hello Vital MTB Visitor,
We’re conducting a survey and would appreciate your input. Your answers will help Vital and the MTB industry better understand what riders like you want. Survey results will be used to recognize top brands. Make your voice heard!
Five lucky people will be selected at random to win a Vital MTB t-shirt.
Thanks in advance,
The Vital MTB Crew
According to Barel, Silva is with the CLLCTV. It was bit odd he tagged three boys and Johnset but not Silva.
Are we going to see a whack load of announcements today?
Really wish we could go to permanent # plates in DH. Let's you put a big # on your jersey & gets WAY easier for us to ID riders coming by when # plate, sleeves & back all have your consistent #.
Whack Load.
It would be funny if they announced that they only wanted to come back with an average team :D
I don't understand what that means...
Yoann Barelli just announced he's off EXT suspension. Wonder what he'll be riding next?
Dude, I feel you, but they can't get more basic things figured out, like listening to the riders if it's safe for them to ride that damn semifinal or not. It's pretty much like if your house is on fire, but what you care about about is that the lunch that you are eating doesn't feature enough wild salmon and caviar.
I'd like to see permanent numbers too, but it's not exactly the main thing that we are missing. We are missing VENUES. At least two big ones are no more this year. Riders are struggling to find teams, brands are not sponsoring racing anymore.
Mx
Are we even sure AG is alive at this point?
Maybe get the sheriff to do a well check?
I heard a rumor that Cube would have a Factory supported XC squad, with 3 riders. Bart Brentjens KMC Team getting support from Ridley and potentially adding a young Canadian talent to the roster.
He's been spotted in Roto-Vegas riding Forbidden..🤔
I only downvoted to get you to an even 10 down votes. Otherwise I'm with you. What is Gwin riding?
Kialani Hines off of Pivot.
At this point we are barely holding up, just throw us some hands Aron, will ya?
Here is the YouTube video from the press release and quotes from Tegan and Fabien!
We are really happy to welcome the young “Canadian Cowboy” Tegan Cruz to the UR Team. Tegan has shown speed during his junior years and we are ready to support him as he deserves for his first year elite in 2024. Tegan just got his DH NS Bikes Fuzz built up and went straight to shoot this video on the North Shore and as you’ll see for his first ride on the new bike and he already feels at home.
“Here it is! I am super fortunate to be joining NS bikes UR team. A team with a solid history at the top of the sport! Excited to join a great group of people. Lots to learn coming into my first year elite, I am fired up to get up to pace on the new bike and get to the races!” -Tegan Cruz
“Tegan is one of the most talented riders of his generation and we are excited to help Tegan reach his full potential. Last year luck was not always on his side with injury so I believe he has a lot more speed to show. Also It’s been only a couples of weeks we have worked together but it’s really nice to see such a appreciative and positive kid.“ - Fabien Cousinie, NS Bikes UR Team Owner
Kelan Grant off of the SRAM Nukeproof factory enduro team
All the Nukeproof stuff is crazy, are any Nukeproof teams even going to exist next year? What's Sam Hill going to do? He seems content not racing and just being a moto dad at this point.
I thought I read Feb 1 is when the UCI posts the team lists? Is that correct?
Not sure, I was told end of January but Feb.1 makes sense. Jan31 Feb1 basically the same lol 😂
The dreadnought is such a capable bike, but it’s very difficult to make it playful on jumps so I can imagine if you gave it 50 more mils of travel it would never want to come off the ground. I think a lot of forbidden free ride team will probably still stay on the dreadnought
Heard Ryder Knoll is with Specialized for 24.
Looking at the comments on his post it seems like the team is continuing, but I'm surprised given their financial troubles. Hopefully they sort everything out, because from everything I've seen online they seem like one of the nicest groups of people in the industry and they have a super cool brand image.
Gunnar Holmgren - was confirmed some time ago. I thought he'd end up on Trek, the same as his twin sisters.....
Danny Hart on a Pivot Firebird. Looks like he’s borrowing bikes, while he’s in NZ!?
Can we get a thread dedicated to daily Danny spottings?
Greg Callaghan on Ibis, on the Morgane Charre insta
