in ohlins dot com manual page there is a manual for
RXF36 m.3
m.3???
It’s listed here https://skylinebicycles.co.uk/products/mondrake-foxy-carbon-rr-carrera-… and apparently was listed on a new commencal ohlins edition. Looking through the manual can;t see any obvious changes to the M.2 - only thing I can think of would be to have the dropouts level with the bottom of the lowers rather than dropped as they are on the M.2 (makes the A2C around 9mm higher than others for the same travel.)

Talked to an Ohlins dealer he said the RFX36 M.3 was planned to come out since he saw spare parts for it a while a go, but Ohlins has cancelled it so there are no more plans for a RFX36 M.3 model.

Just put a smashpot in fox 38 or zeb. The reason ohlins are so good is because of the 3 chambers and the tune ability of the airspring.
The other good thing about Ohlins is that its coil comes with a sleeve so it doesn't mar the inside of the fork, meaning you can still run a triple air chamber if you feel like it.

The air spring is a fully self-contained cartridge, so it wouldn’t matter if the inside of the fork legs were marred by a coil spring in this case…

I’m sure the air spring is good but Ohlins damper is also great. I have anRFX36 coil and it’s amazing. Run the spring kinda soft and let the damper do its thing. I want the same thing for my Spire. I have a 38 on it and I don’t think the damper is good enough for a coil spring.

sag is a bit higher (15-20% instead of 10-15%) as well.
don't know if the R/C tune will be different out of the box (comments about compression being too stiff)

smashpot on zeb and 38 doesn't ruin the internals so you can go back to air if you wish
Heard a doozy of a rumour - Norco going to high pivots across ALL their full-suspension bikes in 2024. I find this one hard to believe [a high pivot Revolver?????], but the source seemed sure...

VLT Sight/Range going high pivot as well. The Fluid isn’t changing.
They’re also doing mixed wheel configurations on all models. I think the VLTs are mixed only, and the analog bikes will be able to switch between the two wheel sizes.
If the Sight/Optic VLT are going high pivot, then so is the Range VLT. Now this would be 1 hell of an e-bike!
I forgot to mention the Range VLT will be high pivot as well. Different suspension configuration from the analog Range though. From the renderings I saw, the new Norcos look very similar in design to the current Slash. A high pivot Horst.
Edited above: I’m not sure they are doing a VLT Optic actually. Sight and Range for sure.
I feel like the norco optic/sight high pivot rumor has been around for at least 2 years now. And also totally believe it, it’s just been “about to happen” for so long.
Makes me want to find a current optic before they’re all gone.
I heard a rumor today that a red giant has invested heavily into one Canadian carbon company....
Sram and We Are One? o.O
Specialized and the mothercompany of guerilla gravity?
I don't think the parent of GG is Canadian?

Not upset about that - was about to buy another RXF36!
I want a coil RFX38 (for a reasonable price)
Dorval shutting down? From Benoit
Can't see any clue about it in Benoit's IG story, what makes you say that?
I think they’re saying BC’s post points to the team not shutting down.
no @ cam.bal though…

Makes sense. Wonder how many more Convergence wheels were sold than Zipp Motos this year?
Oops wrong thread! Please ignore.
The photo makes sense in the Team Rumors thread as people were saying the team is going away…

Anyone have a guess what Push is teasing on Instagram? Apparently "A new approach to rear suspension" will be released tomorrow.
Just their single damping circuit "cheap" version of a rear coil.
Probably still close to $1000 I bet.
Gotta be that shock that they conveniently let slip in a short bit ago.
They just posted "SV Eight", so single valve? "Budget" shock form Push as guessed before?
