Hey specialized, prove me wrong.
Finished the season with 2 top 5s and only finished outside the top 15 at 1 race this year, and all that with a win in Trophy of Nations for NZ in his second year as a full time racer.
It's pretty clear the EWS is on a bit of a downturn while enduro racing is only growing. I think most brands would be smart to focus their resources on a more local level than one international race series most enduro racers don't even care about.
Takes a lot of cash to keep those golden locks shiny.
That combined with the American Dream's skin tight pants addiction, it is surprising they have anything left to pay the riders.
Any guesses what he'll be riding at YT if he ends up there? The Capra or the Jeffsy?
But I've just noticed there is is more on that page, the 2024 world cup page, stating 2024 XCO in Crans Montana and DH in Portes du Soleil (Region dents du midi), which means Champery (Also confirmed by VinnyT few weeks ago).
Current World Champs schedule for the future is: Vallnord (Andorra, 2024), Valais (SUI, 2025), Val di Sole (ITA, 2026), Haute Savoie (FRA, 2027).
I don't know how I feel about a world champs DH there (that said, they sure know how to build a gnarly track) but this is clearly great pick for an EWS event.
