Its been observed immediately after press release that there are no brakes and drivetrain sponsors... Which is pretty weird considering they are one of the hottest teams on the circuit!
Semi. Running FOX the only option for drivetrain is either TRP or Shimano. If they want to brakes other than those two, they are SOL. It's weird they are running Shimano drivetrain and brakes and not have a deal, but it's clear they don't considering they run Galfer brakes.
Sinter is a well known braking parts manufacturer from Slovenia (in Slovenia?) that does a lot of custom stuff as well and they have a presence on the bike market too since a few years now. The 'junior Unior' national team was Sinter brakes team and they ran Devinci frames in the past few seasons. Unior Devinci (and Unior before that) didn't run Sinter brakepads because they were sponsored by Sram and that came as a package deal, however when they went FOX for last year, the quickly bought a full Shimano setup (not sponsored, just like Commencal) and ran Sinter brakes, since they were not obliged to run Shimano stuff. And the team is now actually Unior - Sinter, so it's clear what brakepads they will run
Maybe it's time to start a brake design/manufacturing company?
I mean it is actually a really nice spec and good price, and they only teased it a few days ago so it's not like they overhyped it.
Only real disapointment for me is that showing that spec on a Capra available for delivery in May makes me assume no new Capra frame for at least the first half of the year. I'm not in the market for an upgrade (have a 2019 capra 29 with -1.5 degree headset which I love), but I feel like they could jump right to the front of the super-enduro pack now that the jeffsy is a mini-enduro rig.

In the Down Time Podcast Chris Hilton said some interesting things, like YT is not obligated to stick to annual life cycles. They could throw whenever a model on the market when they want. With the Elite and the Shred version they already have the latest stuff in their portfolio.
They try to improve and listen to the customer and update their bikes what the riders request.
Their entry level bikes are well equipped to start mtb. Only problem is the availability of their bikes.

Yearly releases are one of the most dumb things we can have. It's literally a new coat of paint on an old product, frames are mostly sold for 3 to 4 years with no or at most minor changes.
I don't see any good reason to not have the same model for 2 years, then do a 'facelift' with a refreshed spec sheet (depending on release of new products from the suppliers) and then a new model. Kinda how it's done in the automotive industry.
If you wanna cater to the 'new bike every year' market make a special limited edition model with a sparkling paint for example and charge even more for it. Otherwise you're ordering double the quantities you did before, but over 2 years.

Just watching Rémi Métailler latest video and we will see a new e13 grappler that could looks like an assegai too. He said he can't show the thread pattern but for what I spot it's a kind of assegai-ish tire.
