Yep. Super clean, high pivot gearbox with good looking geo? Take my money, looks like a more refined Deviate Guide

Looks like most of the big names are running the mullet, except the Santa Cruz boys and Amoury, there aren’t that many more on the full 29? I suppose most privateers and smaller teams running the older Supreme. In contrast I think there will also be very few full 27.5 bikes still out there too...

I think height is going to be deciding factor for most riders. I can barely keep a 29er out of my ass on a trail bike no way could I do one on a dh rig without some serious change in technique
Totally. Rode a 29 Demo last season in Whistler and was getting my ass buzzed like crazy. Had to change my riding technique. Would love to run mullet but Specialized wont make the linkage available to run it proper.

Why do get some posts removed every once in a while here? For example a DVO Air Shock post is missing now. And a 'Hi' with a photo attached.

Was it a large DH (x2) type air shock? I'm ready to pull the trigger on a topaz, but would prefer to long shock and use something a little burlier

Has anyone seen the new DVO air shock? Apparently it was in use at the winter bootleg race earlier this year

original posters must have deleted. we took down that chinese commencal link at commencal's request, but clearly that's out of our control.

DVO isn't this larger volume shock seen at sedona, is it?

DVO told me that there was no new DH air shock in the works, so maybe a HV topaz is on the way.

There definitely is, that looks like a rebound adjuster at the base of an aircan on Bryson jnrs ebike.

The HV can has been on the reign and hail bikes for 18months but I think it’s only just become available as an aftermarket product.

I hope it's backwards compatible on the old Topaz like the MegNeg!

That just looks like the air can from the topaz 2 on the Topaz Tri Air.
The topaz 2 comes with HV can.

Wonder if the new RS forks will be a lightweight spring instead of air?

Yeah I can’t see why it wouldn’t be. Will be a great addition for anyone with a linear bike

So I was thinking...Pikes Peak in Colorado is named for ZEBulon Pike. So, i wonder if theres any correlation between the naming. ZEB/Pike. Maybe its nothing but coronaboredom got my mind going weird places.

The HV aircan isn't great for progressive bikes because the air spring requires much more pressure to get enough support at sag and in early to mid stroke (due to starting at higher leverage ratios). That higher spring rate then makes it difficult to use deeper travel.

Where as a linear bike that starts out with a lower leverage rate and requires much more end stroke support will benefit from the higher overall pressure build up whilst being able to remain sensitive in the early part of the stroke thanks to the higher negative volume

Thats been my experience with the Topaz anyway but everyone is unique and what works for me wont work for others
