Mine came from a Sintesi Bazooka (I have no clue what happened to it) and it initially had some team-green decals. The disc caliper mount was made from the lowest grade aluminium, was very brittle and broke easily. I had stainless steel replacements made while I rode that fork. I also have a Mr. T, but it's less sexay than the Super T, duh!

I actually came over not too long after Joe... He was my manager at Diamondback in the warranty department.. When Marzocchi needed someone to run the warehouse, he threw my name into the mix and that was the start of a long stay for me..

On another note: what do people think is going to happen with all launches usually being targeted for Sea Otter, now that it is postponed? Also, will the same brands have the same appearance as usual when all launches are done already?

Hope I’m not setting anyone up for disappointment. It’s nothing special, just something you might not have thought of to get close to a freshly serviced feel after a few hard rides. Definitely not a replacement for the real thing.

I've noticed a few quick shots on social media the past few weeks of what looked to be a new Maxxis spike tire, but couldn't tell for sure. Here's a better view.

looks almost like a re-branded specialized Hillbilly. Similar offset center knobs and a very round casing.

Dude what are you running a 34 on that you think you should jump to a 38? Just get a 36.

This was my thought. I am very curious what lengths the 38 will be produced in. My guess is maybe as low as 160 up to maybe 190. However, It is entirely possible it could be like a 160 -180mm. Should be interesting to see.

It would make a lot of sense for Fox to go 38mm stanchions for their enduro fork and DH Fork. only difference being the dual crown on the DH fork. The lowers could be the same and the pistons/parts all the same. Would reduce manufacturing costs and skus. HOWEVER, it looks like the new fox '38' may be a 36mm stanchions. And the new DH fork could also be a 36 stanchions in that photo, with dual crowns. While the lowers look similar, they appear to be screw in axles on the enduro fork and pinch of the DH fork. And lower part of crown looks beefier on the DH model. So maybe they're just using the same stanchions and internal parts.

I know this is what MRP does with the Ribbon/Bartlett, and I'm fairly sure the same is true of the Lyrik/Boxxer.

Edit: Identical lowers/internals, that is.

Lyrik and Boxxer are different now, but in the 26" days they were indeed similar. I was thinking about making a 27,5" Lyrik at the time by putting a 27,5" Boxxer lower on a Lyrik. Luckily I had none of the parts, the money or a bike to fit it to :D

It would also make it one of the very very rare 27,5" 20 mm axle forks Smile
