I think they look goofy and would rather split the rise between steerer tube spacers and bar height but that's just me.

I think this has made my front tyre choice for bike park season pretty easy. I finally tested the Magic Mary Radial Gravity Ultra Soft against the Assegai DoubleDown MaxxGrip. The Mary was much smoother in the rough, had huge braking confidence, and came out 2.86 seconds quicker in my 15-run comparison. What surprised me most is that I do not think it gives anything away in rolling speed either. It was already edging ahead on the smoother, flatter opening section before grip really became a factor. I mean its the same as with the car industry, China simply has an upper hand on technology, production and pricing... And I doubt there will be protective tariffs on ebike motors as there are on cars

Swapped my TC 2.5 Trail Pro Radial Soft after ~250mi for a Romy 2.5 Trail Pro Radial Soft yesterday. The TC was definitely worn, but could have lasted another 50mi if I didn’t have another tire I wanted to try. Another 100mi and it would have been pretty roached. That’s about what I’d expect to get out of a DHR2 MaxTerra. (I haven’t tried the new MaxTerra compound.) Really good tire in back, with my only real complaint being that the center knobs feel squirmy on high-traction rocks and a little vague on hardpack. Great in loose and loose-over-hard, though...
