The same data set that brought us Live valve? Cause that doesn't seem to have translated from motor sports to Bikes as well as they were hoping lol. I understand where you are coming from and what you are saying but this whole narrative I keep seeing in the forum's that FOX is the only company the bleeds racing and that Loris would be doing himself a disservice moving to something else is just silly talk.

Just because RS don't have a YouTube video series with a guy in a sprinter van and a friendly dude in his backyard doesn't mean RS doesn't care about the details. There are plenty of riders on the circuit running RS who demand the same if not more from their suspension. Let's not forget Amaury Pierron absolutely killed everyone two years ago aboard a bike with RS on it and I don't feel the suspension was holding him back.

Can we just talk about this for a moment? What can the big guys argue against gearbox after seeing this? Like sign me up https://www.vitalmtb.com/community/Shredmaster-2020,53572/setup,42992 but it limits suspension design.. Nevermind but its heavy... wait 39lbs?..... Nevermind It will ruin the aesthetic... er.... Nevermind We just don't want to commit to it? Bingo

RS inline shocks are fine, dunno what all the fuss is about. Can take a megneg, not horrible damping. Unless you're doing big descents of course.

Pretty unnecessary buddy, and I'd also hold my hopes/horses if I were you, she happens to look pretty happy with Emily Siegenthaler. Why don't we stick to rumors and biking?

That was filmed in the summer, and to be honest if I were Santa I'd milk it as long as I can. That guy has massive untapped marketing potential, and that spot does not work half as well without him (who else has a track walk soundboard to their name??). The Loris thing is kinda weird to me: I understand that he wanted to get out of Loic's shadown and he landed right under Minnaar's, but with his progression he would go into 2021 as SC's top dog, and no other top brand has a ride as uncontested n°1. If...

Do we need a new thread for suspension setting rumors?

That SC... I like fox more than rocksbox I think. But fox decals have gotten consistently less good looking in the last 5-8 years. And rockshox keep looking better and better. My unsolicited opinion.

Am I being naive, but why would suspension sponsors and clothing sponsors stop riders signing new contracts? Loads of riders each year change teams that use different brands, I get riders like jack Moir was pretty unhappy with the kit that intense used when Gwin came in (I seem to remember ready he was glad to be back on R/S at Canyon). So I get riders probably have preferred components, But lots of riders change with teams. Surly the biggest issues riders would consider, would be like, how many offers are on the table? what support could that team/sponsor give...

I've also thought Finn would be better off moving to a new team. Seems like he is riding over his head to keep up with Loic and crashes out more than he finishes. Maybe getting out of Loic's shadow would let him slow down a bit and finish some race runs.

1. tons of people used remote lockouts in Pietermaritzburg and in Canberra. Some people in both cases even went so far to run effectively enduro bikes (single crown fork of Fabien Barel in Canberra, prototype of what was to be the Spartan for Stevie in Pietermaritzburg). 2. use the technology that is available to you. Theoretically this is available to everybody. It's the sponsors and/or the riders problem, if these things do not get used. And it's not like lockouts are something that nobody has seen. And even if they were, so what? Somebody figured out something new. And it's...

Cheating is maybe the wrong term, anyone could have used a rear lockout like many did in Cairns and he manually adjusted his front fork compression with his hand... Unless being smart is considered cheating?

I don’t think we’ll be seeing any of those until Q1 or even Q2 of next year. Component shortages are making it impossible for bikes to be ready until at least early 2021 at the moment.
