Is it grammatically incorrect ? Don't get it. When you pedals, the movement of your crankset is clockwise on the right of the bike (considering you look at your bike side view), and counter-clockwise on the left of the bike, you agree ? So when you want to tighten your pedals it's simply in the same way (clockwise or counter-clockwise) "than" when you pedals.

Don't you believe Shimano know this and are already in the works with this since probably a few years now? No to mention the fact that Saint is already pretty old and still relevant. Shifter and derailleur are okay (it's a DH bike grouppo, you don't shift around that much anyway), Shimano cranks are better than SRAM regardless how you look at them, they are just hassle-free, and the brakes have been a good standard for a small eternity, with the competition catching on in more recent years. But let's not forget what we had before! I'd like to mention...

RE: Cannondale.... likely the new XC rig that was to debut for an Olympic year. Expected new XC model from Scott this season too for the same reason. Now they're a year early.

Very cool products here. Definitely looking at the single speed kit to replace a dying Rohloff DH. Had been considering the SB1 stuff but maaaan that’s expensive stuff to huck bike parks with. Also think the steerer clamp would make life so easy when there’s 4 bikes in the van.

I know the shock will prob work very well but DVO should employ a new graphic designer as this looks horrible, looks like it belongs on a alien spacecraft from the 90’s!

About that..yeah, it is just you. I'm 5'8" and feel perfct on any bike which is in my size, even bigger than my size(that's up-sizing for you), regardless of the wheel size. P.S. faster on the big wheels.

I'm 6'2" and was like "meh" on 29ers... Liked it for bombing, liked it even more in mullet form (for bombing and adding a whole touch of fun, don't really know how, maybe by lowering the BB, shortening the reach and slackening the HT angle, so MAYBE nothing to do with size of wheel). But 29ers (or event mullet) in a mix of speed and fun (but essentially fun !)... Meh. If I had the money available now I'd buy a Privateer 161 (+ a pair of bombshell wheels, 29" front, 27,5" rear maybe) and get rid of my 27,5"...

They'll have a 140-ish travel before a soon-burried 27,5". (PS : I'm a big fan of 27,5", just became pessimistic about their future. At the front of bikes at least. Nostradamus said that in the 2022/3 horizon there will be only mullets, and only Greg Minnaar will remain on 29". Dual crowns everywhere. 38mm stanchions for everybody. Gravels will have flat bars, front suspensions and what will be named 650B wheels)

no demand for 275 in larger sizes... it's like the 26" from 5 years ago. Smart move on them.

Is the Santa Cruz mullet thing a rider size thing? I'm thinking more and more of this could be seen in the future, I'm actually not going to say a factory mullet bike won't happen anytime soon, quite the opposite. With the things going, if you look at norco with 27 and 29 models of the Sight, I think it would make sense to make S to L mullet and M to XL 29er. Ideally with the option to use both wheel sizes in the overlapping sizes. EDIT: funny thing, Loris' bike has the old X2 shock Smile

I call on a refined Nukeproof Mega for Y2k21. EDIT : screenshot doesn't load, don't know why. Basically, Kelan Grant is on a Chain Reaction's Instagram takeover today ans someone asked him if by any chance the team could be ride on a Reactor during EWS. Answer : "100% sure"

Can't reply on the good thread so... My commentary is only targetted on price, I've no experience of either of the two besides online mag reviews. Madonna seems to be a great frame at a "classic" (or even a touch costly) price, when 161 seems to be a great frame at the price of a discounted Transition.
