4/2/2022 1:17pm As a follow up to the earlier post, I am now clear of the cancer(I consumed so much green stuff)thanks to my wife’s care and cooking still got the COPD & it’s getting worse. Along with the heart it’s been scary to say the least. Probably the worst mistake was listening to the doctors telling me no exercise that screwed me worse. So it’s walking until it hurts then start walking again carrying a can of Boost Oxygen with me while walking or riding, on a bike path all this only being done with my wife being with me in...

4/1/2022 11:34am Yes, this was announced a year or two ago and is part of a push for an 'all-in-one' World Championships, where they will have pretty much every discipline but cyclocross competing for the rainbow stripes. https://www.cyclingworldchamps.com/event If I recall correctly, some news sites were assuming this was a 'trial' event and may be something they look to do every couple of years or so. It sounds like a neat idea, but it may get complicated trying to juggle so many different calendars plus find a site that has suitable courses for every discipline in the future.

4/1/2022 11:33am Shame. It's going to be interesting to see where she sits in relation to the top 4 or 5 ladies when she gets up to speed. I'd be surprised if she returns to her previous heights, but she was so much quicker than everyone else when she was on it that she could maybe still be competitive in today's field...

4/1/2022 1:07am Jumping the gun for this thread somewhat, but it looks like Fort Bill will be hosting the World Champs next year. A snippet taken from a story on the other site; "the forthcoming 2023 UCI Cycling World Championships, which will take place in Glasgow and Scotland bringing together the 13 existing World Championship cycling disciplines into one event for the...

4/2/2022 1:48am Mission statement from Discovery. https://www.digitaltveurope.com/2022/03/25/discovery-launches-home-of-c…. I wonder if they'll be pushing the UCI to increase the number of women qualifiers in WCDH so they can do more storytelling?

3/30/2022 12:09am I wouldn't bank on it. Maybe a new line through the woods? I wonder if Rachel will turn up for the BDS round a couple of weeks before the WC?

3/29/2022 8:44am No, as long as you go back on course between the same two poles you went off (i.e. not going around a pole) you're OK.

3/29/2022 3:27am Nah, you could see on the footage he jumped trackside of the pole and left it swaying after he passed it, so I'd say he clipped the pole whilst staying within the tape rather than jumping the tape. 36.55 into the replay for anyone who wants to have a look.

yeah it was a bummer the camera man on that section always went tight to the rider's faces instead of showing things a bit wider.

I'd love to see what Coulanges' bike was doing when he landed that rock drop on his race run. He seemed to land so much deeper off it than anyone else.

3/28/2022 3:35am Are you planning on updating the title to keep the thread running after the post race stuff has finished, or do we need to start a new one for Fort Bill?

3/27/2022 3:54am Gwin's crash in practice probably left him pretty sore. To be fair I can see why he didn't want to push too hard in qualies.

I don't remember being as impressed with the track on previous visits. I don't know if it's changed much or if it's the taping but it looks savage this year.
