1/8/2024 12:35pm Bikes are not just their suspension layout. They are a sum of all their parts. I believe that the new optic and sight are going to be really good bikes.

1/8/2024 12:32pm It is sad, but the reality is bike purchases are heavily driven by aesthetics. In some ways you want to respect companies that cling to their image but is it really worth doing so at the expense of failing? Ibis adapted by getting rid of the swoopy top tube. But Intense is another example of a company that refuses to get rid of questionable branding and may go the way of the dodo if they don't adapt. Need to take ques from the brands gaining marketshare... i.e. WAO & Forbidden, clean lines & minimal branding. Bikes need to look sexy...

12/3/2023 10:23am sick indeed. But those GX Transmission cranks look like something off of a department store bike circa 1998. The frame makes these cranks look even worse than usual.

12/3/2023 10:21am This is the most logical thinking that I have seen in the e-bike vs bike naming debate. I'm 100% on board with this. E-Moped or E-Ped are the only terms I am accepting at this point. Who's with me? lol

11/30/2023 6:24pm It was something that was told to me by a well-known suspension tuner. Truthfully looking at this new shock a bit more, I just don't get where it fits in with its price point (in spite of my earlier enthusiasm). Besides the HBO what are you getting that a $280 Bomber doesn't get you? If it came with true custom tuning at that price, I think that would be a fair deal, but as is, nah.

11/28/2023 3:37pm The naming convention was determined decades ago. Motorized pedal bikes were called mopeds, full human powered bicycles have and always will be bicycles.

11/6/2023 12:56pm I just can't imagine SRAM not doing a cable actuated transmission at some point. Small engineering effort vs. large market volume should make this a no-brainer. Would be a bold move to drop all the lower end market and some OEM deals along with it?
