I worked for the original distributor in the UK. The shocks and cartridges were good, the forks less so. Bos were not easy to deal with, we were a tuning company and Bos were adamant their products didn't need tuning. There was not a chamfered edge on a single part - cavitation central. If you can get the parts, they are excellent shocks. If you have to deal with Bos directly, good luck. A cheap fix for old shocks is to fit a Fox body, then use standard 1/2" seals and Push pistons. Not as nice as a 12 mm...

Amanda Batty blocks anyone who disagrees with her in the slightest and bullies other female riders that post anything she considers exploitative. I got blocked for sticking up for another rider she was shaming. She's not interested in discussion. Yep, our sport needs to be inclusive for women and people from more diverse backgrounds. I don't think her approach is helping. Anyways, back to team rumours.

Bullshit! Matters when you’re carrying the bike, matters when you’re riding, especially if you shed grams from wheels and tires. Years ago i managed to shed 750g from wheels and another 700-750g from tires at once - felt like i bought a new dh-bike: that’s how big the change was.

when you feel like you're being pulled down a hill by your bike in steep section and scare the shit out of yourself because you no longer feel in control -thats too much reach. go ride a long reach bike down a gnarly steep chute. if you cant continue relocate your body rearwards in steep sections to feel comfortable because you have fully extended your arm "travel" -thats too much reach.
