@TEAMROBOT can you say anything about the mid-valve? This is something sorely missing from most MTB dampers. Is it a just a check shim with restricted float, or a stack? I take the IFP is self bleeding, so it doesn't pressurize?

Reliability wise, these are second to none. Mine are 7 years old (C41) and only just developed a slight weep at the lever. Loctite is needed for the bar clamp, otherwise performance has been faultless. For parts, bikeDoc has everything. In comparison: Tech3 E4 needed a rebuild after 1 year and constant adjusting, not nearly as powerful - given away out of frustration. XT had random bite points and leaked at both levers after 1 year, not rebuildable (disgusting in this era) - trashed. Codes needed a rebuild after ~3 years, they can be made as powerful with braided lines...

I worked for the original distributor in the UK. The shocks and cartridges were good, the forks less so. Bos were not easy to deal with, we were a tuning company and Bos were adamant their products didn't need tuning. There was not a chamfered edge on a single part - cavitation central. They are, and all because Bos are arseholes to deal with. I think it actually performs better standard, but it's such a pain to get seals for, so I foxified it. 12.7mm shafts are common across a few brands, and there are plenty of seals. With the shaft displacing more oil, it needed a piston with as high port volume as possible, so as not to overwhelm the compression valving. I would have fitted a standard Push DHX piston, but since Push updated the Elevensix, the original piston is readily available. The Elevensix piston is really well though out, staggered...
