I did A-B-A testing on each day aiming to get in 5 quality laps before swapping tyre, then 5 laps, swapping back again and another 5 laps. Timing was done by picking the exact GoPro frame where I crossed a specific feature on the trail, e.g. tree, rock, post etc so that I could get accurate timing to 1/60th sec and construct a perfect lap taking the best from each sector. The results often surprised me and I think "feel" can be misleading. The Assegai for example felt epic, but in the data it is slower in every sector.

Something everyone has to realize about UBM and UDH is that SRAM is in the business of selling OEM to massive bike companies. Anything SRAM can do to make the process faster and cheaper/better for the OEMs is seen as a win. The Sidekick uses a 45T ratchet ring that translates to an 8 degree "traditional" engagement. The degrees on the pusher are reflective of just the pusher movement itself. The bearing you are looking for is a dual row angular contact ball bearing, Kugellager express has it. It's a 3802. Enduro also has them. Cleaning pistons is good general maintenance and makes a difference in the seal longevity and helps clear up the bores of any material that might lead to corrosion build up, but I'd just go ahead and order one of the aftermarket rebuild kits on Amazon/Ali and swap the pistons and seals out. Then you'll be well able to clean the piston pockets, ensuring less likelihood of corrosion build up. Those kits work well enough and are cost effective, so if you're going to disassemble a caliper you may as well rebuild it with fresh seals and pistons. Air compressor works...
