Perfect. A system that will tell 90% of riders to firm up their front suspension. Riders then complain about 'feedback', possibly quitting once they have a functional setup.

Soooooo... How does this work on the front fork using magnets? That little nub that looks like a magnet will hardly provide a field strong enough for the hall sensor to see it. Using a strong enough magnet will cause the bike to collect all the tools in the shed once parked (because it will be THAT big and strong to work over 25 cm that is between the magnet and the sensor). Gloves are awesome, nice to have a non-bulky mid-weight choice. For me they are good from 25-45F or so. The grid fabric is also awesome, more durable and holds less moisture vs merino. I have the Gryphon shirt from 7Mesh, but same fabric. Pricey, but merino doesn't last long mt biking, holds more sweat, and isn't cheap either.

Yearly releases are one of the most dumb things we can have. It's literally a new coat of paint on an old product, frames are mostly sold for 3 to 4 years with no or at most minor changes. I don't see any good reason to not have the same model for 2 years, then do a 'facelift' with a refreshed spec sheet (depending on release of new products from the suppliers) and then a new model. Kinda how it's done in the automotive industry. If you wanna cater to the 'new bike every year' market make a special limited...

pumping is absolutely less effective than on non-HPP. In thinking back now, i actually stopped using pumping as a strategy, and am only slowly doing it more now - years later. My strategy became - work really hard to get up to speed, and then do everything to maintain (eg minimal braking, large apex on turns, send all jumps to flat lol)

I think HPP bikes would be a dog to pump because the rear wheel doesn't want to stay in the same place as you pump. Hardtails pump better than full-suspension bikes, and I feel like a HPP bike would pump even worse. I don't think most beginner and intermediate riders would notice this because I think most beginners and intermediates are just hanging on to survive aggressive trails, but when you want to go real fast you have to pump everything. This would obviously be less of a factor on steeper and rougher trails, though.
