If that jump was 50 feet, the video guy should be taken out back and shot. The video in no way communicated the actual size of that jump. The whole time I was waiting for a side angle or something. P.S. it was a really good video, and I'm real happy for you mike. The photos are sick too. Pretty incredible riding.

The U.S. Open has always been one of those stellar, well run, well publicized, fun looking events. I only got to go last year, and I was really looking forward to going back. Diablo definitely WAS my favorite east coast bike park. Bummer. Small-minded people just don't get mountain biking. Unfortunately, a lot of those small-minded people get to make important land-use decisions.

Billy Lewis cranked table top with both feet still on the pedals FTW. With all the ugly mtb untrundown foot out things we see, I was beginning to forget what an actual table top looked like. Pictures of frogs do not impress me, whether there was a lot of effort applied or not. A bunch of engineers put a lot of effort into building the space shuttle Challenger, but I don't grade performances based on effort.
