this frame is beautiful and versatile.. I did the same with my M size orange one.. 27.5/26, 8.5x2.5 shock, 160mm, high position, boom . my 11yo kid rips the hell out of it..Enjoy !

3/5/2024 7:55am I'm not quite your weight but geared up probably 220ish. I have experimented a lot with tires, pressures, inserts etc... after a season of pinching 5 maxxis tires including DH casing. Here are the conclusions I've come to. 1. For a narrow (2.4") tire, pressure is king... I'm also around the 32psi mark on a dh tire. With this set...

So hope is as pretty, stronger, cheaper and lighter. Atlas is stronger, lighter and cheaper, but not as pretty. Era is stronger, lighter.... similar price but not as pretty. This is a tough sell..... I guess if you want 155mm cranks there arent many options, and if you want to support a small Canadian company.

For those in the 24" market... the Norco fluid FS24 is better in just about everyway.... and costs less (on sale currently)

I've loved Hope since 2010 when I got a set of Tech 3 M4's. Went years without even bleeding them. The quality and lever feel was phenomenal. Unfirtunately, top end power wasn't there so I switched to Saint. While I really like Shimano, this may be the ticket to having the best of both worlds.

Very interesting build. What's the reason for putting the dropout in high position then tossing on a 2 degree headset? To preserve BB height? The Mezzer is top notch choice here.
