If there was a race every weekend then perhaps it wouldn't be as big of a problem. But with only 7-8 rounds in the year they can't do this. Every race is super important, varying tracks and conditions make it more competitive, its supposed to be a WORLD Cup. The best racer in the world should be able to navigate a slippery mudder. Maybe they don't win, but they do well enough, score some points toward the overall.

They choose the schedule, the date, the venue and the track. Their job is run a race, if they are not able to do it, they should be fired... Other people have been able to do it for the last 30 or 40 years... I hope the juniors are at least getting a refund!!

And the flip side of that is the Lawrence brothers just won both motocross championships. honestly you should really try empathy out. Life might not be fair but it would be a lot better without people acting like you have.

The rebrand must have been pricy judging by the above MSRP pricing on some of the bikes y'all have.

If you move the cassettes one at a time you would have 2x the number of speeds on each cassette. EG two 7 speed cassettes would work out to 14 speeds.

no it doesn't, actually. shimano dura-ace track gourp 7710 debuted in 1996 and has not had a single update since. there's no reason to replace it. just like saint works, best brakes in their line-up, ain't broke, don't fix it. sram is the reason things come out so fast now, they don't wait until a product is fully ready, they...

You don’t need to understand anything? Fascinating. In the spirit of posting random links, here is a heterosexual cop twerking with a member of the lgbtq community during a pride event. He sadly died from cancer after heroically serving at the twin tower attacks on 9/11. https://www.nydailynews.com/new-york/nypd-officer-twerked-parade-dies-9…

There is no doubt that some companies attempts to enter the e-bike market will lead to their demise. Quality control issues and inability to honor warranties in a timely manner will take it's toll. Their quote that not offering e-bikes is suicide could also be rephrased as adding e-bikes to the line will be a slow painful death.

RIP Transition. Another formerly cool brand goes casual and succumbs to the E-Bike fallacy. And according to the review, the bike is not even that good. Also: What the fuck are those prices.

Love it, this "community" seems to be no different than PB. I literally said what majority of the others have stated on here in different way, yet the "burn him at the stakes for what he said/down vote him" mentality prevails...

Well, as a "diehard" Transition fan, looks like I'll be on to new brands in the near future. Super bummed as I know many of the Transition crew. Didn't think this would happen, at least so soon. Also, from my experience in the environmental science world, MOST trails that are hard to get to on federal land are NON Motorized, which includes E-bikes. So, out to ride moto trails then? Lame. Many of my buddies are riding steel full squish brands built here in the US. I know where I will be looking to buy when it's time for another...

As a Spur owner, and potentially a Spire as well, I'm sad to see Transition on the E-bike train. Especially since their release video for the Spur had a whole Tongue in Cheek skit poking fun at E-bikes.

Unfortunate that mtb's are contributing towards this https://www.wired.co.uk/article/lithium-copper-mining-atacama-desert Sure for ol' folks, those with health issues, or commuters that replace their cars with a ebike makes sense. For the rest, just pedal your damn bike. Greed for "more laps in less time" not a great thing for our future generations.

I don't do those either, except maybe once a year, certainly not daily. Someone let me ride a Levo once and I see the appeal. It's the same appeal with way less balls as my KTM. I guess e-bikes are just neutered motorcycles.

I think this is a very cool bike with Geo that is spot on , especially for an E-bike. That said I hate what E-bikes represent. To me it is a cheat code that violates the unwritten ethos of MTB riders out in the wild grunting and improving their fitness in pursuit of a beautiful experience. Nothing pisses me off as a grind a climb and some E-biker buzzes by me like I am standing still. No skin off my nose, I get it. Probably envy on my part. But it still pisses me off. .If want to ride with...
