I feel the “solid lever feel” is quite accurate, meaning it feels like it won’t move, if not up and down due to bushing play. I find these things horrendous when for a third you can get the non series 4 pot shimano with an almost premium lever feel when compared

Gets really close, made me a little dent in that part of the tube so it would clear 👍 White ranch, Apex, Maryland Mountain, and Trestle.

Does the shock reservoir really clear the frame at max compression? Looks like it would blow that reservoir right off on a hard hit. Also, really curious where on the Front Range you are riding a bike like this?

I have been extremely humbled. I recently got my first mountain bike. I’ve always ridden moto and offroad type racing. (Dirtbikes) I’ve skated, skied. I’ve always looked at MTB and thought how much I wanted to do it but never really had the chance. I finally got my first MTB the other day and went on a nice mountain trail for my first time. Redbull runs hardline in Wales and Tasmania, not places known for lots of elevation… Maybe you should tell Gee and his mates that they should be on some XC bikes? You could build a dead smooth flow trail in the Alps, and many have been. Elevation does not *necessarily* correlate with Gnarly.

The TMac's do not employ center pins whereas these do. In my experience, center pins tend to feel odd at best if not unsettling, but obviously they can be removed. Thoughts?

As the pads wear you can then keep adjusting their position accordingly.
