5/2/2025 7:59am I run MM in fall and winter when it's softer and leaves cover the trails, TC in spring and summer as trails bake and harden up. I can fold the edge knobs of the MM in the summer and if that was fixed id just run MM on the front year round.

5/2/2025 7:59am Tire choice often comes down to personal preference. If you have the means to, I recommend giving the radial MMs a try. I don’t have a good feel for long term durability yet, but seem to be holding up great after a month of weekend slaying and questionable line choices.

5/2/2025 7:26am Based on my experience thus far, they actually perform better in wet roots than the old design. One of the first rides I hit them on was littered with wet angled roots on an off cambered slope. They hook! My guess is that has more to do with the radial design than stiffer side lugs. They do feel more supportive and confident when railing through hardpack turns, but still offer incredible grip on roots and slippery rock faces. Ran the Assegai/DHRII setup for years, but full on Schwalbe convert at the moment. Thinking about mounting an Albert on the rear...

5/1/2025 4:44pm I believe the side lugs on the new MM radials are stiffer than the old ones. Have been running dual MM radials for a few weeks now and this feels to be true. Gravity casing F/R, ultra soft F, soft R; they are incredible! Used to run inserts with lower pressure for high grip, now running no inserts with higher pressures and they still grip insanely well.

3/11/2022 9:56am Agreed. For people like Paul Bas and Warner, the e-bike is a blessing for getting back to doing what they love and being able to ride with friends again. In crowded towns and cities, the e-commuter has a solid place for eliminating unneeded driving, but has created its own realm of problems. 13yo kids stacked three deep with scooters and skateboards on their mom’s hacked rad wagon going 30+ down a bike path is not ideal.

3/8/2022 9:21am Unfortunate that mtb's are contributing towards this https://www.wired.co.uk/article/lithium-copper-mining-atacama-desert Sure for ol' folks, those with health issues, or commuters that replace their cars with a ebike makes sense. For the rest, just pedal your damn bike. Greed for "more laps in less time" not a great thing for our future generations.

8/7/2021 12:17am Go to Mexico and then travel to WV. Travelling from Mexico to USA is easy, just need a negative Covid test 3 days prior to flying into the US. Fly to Cancun, get tested asap, then enjoy some beach vibes for 3 days, post your test results and all clear! That's assuming Mexico doesn't have any restrictions on travelers coming...
