I have a lathe so used a 4 jaw chuck and machined out the oval 1 1/8 bearing cup to 44mm ID, then installed a EC44/40 headset cup to run the tapered steerer, will see how it goes I guess!

It’s an old race face post. I actually have a Magura Vyron but the remote isn’t here yet. I got the frame for $700 so for an experiment wanted to see what it rode like.
