The first WC DH Wyn TV of the season!

the official start of the season = wyntv!

Is it just me or does it feel like the fashion shoots have stepped up a level this year?

Tahnee said her dad and 2 other guys built the entire thing in 6 months. She showed pics in her insta stories of the process. They literally started with a low deck flat bed trailer and built the entire thing. As a fabricator, I am truly impressed.

Split time status indicator on Vali's bike ? 🤔

Looks like a rock slab that is a bit off camber and his wheel washed out instead of rode onto and over it? Looks very much like a high speed front wheel wash-out towards the inside of the corner for added measure.

Bump with a question: does anyone know of any shorts that have a 15"+ inseam in a size medium? Trying to avoid excessive thigh gap, but apparently I have long femurs. Longer shorts used to be easier to come by, but now it seems like everyone has made their shorts... short.

It ain’t enduro unless you got a 6 inch gap between your shorts and knees pads.

Two day events are the real treat. Turns it into more of a spectacle because its more then just going out for a huge day. It is really an epic now. Also Booker winning in a T-shirt, a Troy Lee D3, and flat pedals is mind blowing. Maybe you just need good nutrition and be really good at riding your bike?

If they come out with a DH bike and don't call it the Undead they should be fired. Out of a cannon. Into the sun.

RACE REPLAY - Pro Downhill Series, Mountain Creek

So stoked to see a proper enduro race and good coverage of it! Warning, mini essay on the state of Enduro ahead! I know the that downhill is more spectacular, and it’s certainly easier to cover, but there is something about proper enduro that really draws me in. One aspect is definitely that it’s more relatable — it’s the kind of riding and racing that I do. I can easily imagine just how fried they feel after 4 big days, or a after completing a long taxing stage where you’re just hanging on. But even moreso, it’s the narrative of...

Lots of talk about which rider and which bike is in contention for the 100k, but this is a for more interesting topic to me: durability and mechanical longevity at the sharpest end. How will this stuff hold up after being smashy smashed by pro riders for a race week, and a full season. Very interesting that her Nicolai’s belt seems to have been impervious to the conditions on Saturday.

Terrible for the pivot guys On the belt drive topic, I think the fact that someone crushed a two day, seemingly back to the olden days of Enduro style race without a mechanical on varied conditions shows they they might actually be something that can happen at the top of the sport. It'll be interesting to see how they hold up over a DH race week.
