I like my forum comments like I like my riding style. Fast, loose, awkward and over confident in my abilities.

I heard its best to run the Fox 38s and Zebs with full dampening. Also important to add an s to the end of every forks name too (cause why not). Find me at your local blue flow trail this weekend blasting Nickelback from my bluetooth speaker.

“Dampener” is the verbiage equivalent of counting clicks from open and helmets with removable chin bars.

Robert from The Loam Wolf here. I was the one who broke the Scalpel, and I’m not surprised I did - overshot the landing of a large jump for an XC bike, landing in the pocket between the landing and the flat ground after it. Huge bottom out. I corrected Kaz at Pinkbike’s quote - he had flatteringly guessed me to be 190lbs, whereas I am 220lbs. Nothing fishy. I wholeheartedly believe the Scalpel is fit for purpose and that it was my fault! Was having far too much fun and got carried away.

Just got back from a day at Dyfi. This is the production-ready model, two were being tested by journalists in preparation for the official launch on the 12th. In person it’s absolutely striking and looks like nothing else out there. If the frame only price is reasonable then I’ve never been more tempted by a bike. (If anyone from Atherton...

Thanks friend. I guess it was time to make an account after all, haha. To clarify a few things: - Yes, the title is abrasive, but I feel that I’ve justified that opinion in (too much) detail throughout the video. I’m not on YouTube to make money, considering I make less than C$4 RPM after tax. I also never pushed my resume/background in my video. - After I connected the rear brake, I cycled the pistons to probably 50% of what was recommended in the manual to ensure they were moving smoothly, which they were. I noticed minimal difference between...

https://i-tracksuspension.com/ This idler pulley is attached to a member of the suspension linkage, so that it moves relative to the bottom bracket and the rear axle, as the suspension is compressed.

Shimano holds a patent for that, handed to them by Honda. It's what prevented Hayes from popularizing the PeteSpeed gearbox after they bought the design from B1. And you can be damn sure they'll keep it sealed until they have milked the rear derailleur for many more years.

i know it's not just brakes, but it's nuts 1k for sram brakes, must be crazy to pay that much for something mass produced, when you can get direttissima brakes, handmade and checked for a tad more, or other options anyway with much higher quality like hope
