The other appealing thing ..it was the only new bike available during the worst part of the COVID shortage so I had buddies buy it and get to ride immediately

"Descending the bike is very quiet with the normal noises expected from rocks and trail debris hitting the downtube of an aluminum frame." How about chain hitting the ground noise? I know people like to say tongue-in-cheek that SRAM's "clutch" is just a strong spring, but it sure seems like the NX clutch is pretty useless in that pic next to the "Rear Suspension" section, with the chain literally on the ground.

That's with a Turq frame. If you compare the regular frame builds, the Yetis and Alchemys are about the same price. A GX Eagle Alchemy is $6700. A GX Eagle SB-150 is $6300 with slightly worse specs.

FWIW, a comparably specced SB150 will run you $8,400. That is a difference of $1,100.

Here's a thought, if a company finds out some washers were out of spec and could be an issue. How about sending them out to customers immediately and letting them know instead of them having to discover a loose linkage and then contacting you about it...

It is too bad Trek can't compete on performance/price/delivery, so they decided on the Microsoft approach. That forces all other brands down a less than desirable path.

One thing that isn't being accounted for is volume.. CSG which owns GT and Cannondale moves a lot more product than Pivot.. That helps with pricing , especially at lower price points. Going spec to spec, that $100 difference is not bad..

The big let down on the Pro LE is the aweful wheelset they chose. Ditch the X01 derailleur, and at least equip a DT350 hub over that woeful SRAM MTH.
