Crazy light for a DH rig. Should flick easy. When I see any big bike ride description about not doing square edge bumps well though I question the need. What else is a DH race bike for then blasting over rough terrain and not letting you die while doing so?

I miss living near lift access. Love the review: well done, and entertaining. I'm looking forward to the rest of them! I'm pretty meh on the pivot tho: Poor value, not able to mullet it, no geo adjust chips, etc. But I'm biased against pivot, because I bought and was very disappointed by a mach 5.7 many years ago.

Why Why Why Why are the colors on the clickers the exact opposite of pretty much every other damper on the market? That's just stupid. If you want to differentiate, make them some other colors, like DVO's green clickers, Ohlins' gold, or Cane Creek's yellow or just black. It's already "upside down", so having the colors opposite is just asking for incorrect settings to happen, since the colors _AND_ locations match current products despite the operations being reversed.

Guessing all the size-specific adjustments and kinematics don't come for free.

A threaded BB can be installed by a monkey and not creak as long as they thread the cups in straight.

I see your Fool and raise you an F-U. You're speaking to a man who has worked in bike shops and Moto shops for decades. Press fits in bikes are nowhere near as robust as in motorcycles and looking at the creak complaint meter has clearly seen that press fit BB"s creak more than threaded. And are more easily damaged during removal and re greasing or re taping or re pipe doping or what ever other means your mechanic uses.

Why do press fit BB's still exist? Do some riders like the sound of creaking?

Proper bike fit is super important for cross country racing, so I'd like a race bike that's super hard to make reach/stack adjustments on. If it's hard to perform basic maintenance too, that's a bonus.

Well, that stinks. I need to upgrade frames soon and was hoping for a re-stock of the 27.5 Patrol. My 5'10" short legged body still has no desire for big wheels and I love the 150-160mm rear travel full 27.5" platforms. I've played around on a buddy's mullet. No interest in wagon wheel on trail. Bummer

A friend had some years ago an Orbea rallon with Bos suspension. The old rallon had at the lower link no bushing it had an 15mm axle but the bos shock normaly has an 14mm eyelet. So Bos just "drilled" that hole up to 15mm. Now the wall thick at the eyelet was really small. As you can think after some month it broke. So the shop send it to Bos and they didn't answer an email or send him one if they repair it, after 5-6 month he got it back. But at that time he had bought a...
