I had that idea too some month ago to use the Hammerschmidt and a GX DH on my enduro bike but the gears were overlaping. And the Range wasn‘t that Great. But I would buy a Hammerschmidt with 1:2.

From what I understand of Trickstuff Maxima, there is no reason for bite point adjustment on the Maxima, Trickstuff has a very specific setup that generates equal distribution of fluid to each piston so that the rotor is perfectly centered between the pads. Lewis had to throw in some adjustment as their calipers do not perform the same. I know the Lewis are like 1/4 of the price, but they are without doubt intended copies of Trickstuff with a few aesthetic differences

Thanks for asking! It would be hard to say much positive about a single part on this bike (maybe a Chromag pedal fan gives the Scarabs a pass); the shock is laughable, and you can tick parts off finding every one less good than what's offered today. But as a whole it worked surprisingly well and I loved it. If I have an insight here (and I'm not sure I do), it's that bikes I've ridden since then have phenomenal sell sheets and each individual component has a great marketing story, a history of winning, a legion of online fans...

Trickstuff brakes are still one of the best brakes on the market after all those years. Over the years they have changed things to make them even better. Like the handlebar support to not damage carbon Bars and other thinks like this. i love mine and wouldn‘t sell them. I had some of the Asian copies in my hands and...

That is the bike from Timo Pries and he builds a lot of cool stuff by himself he even has a Shock bleeding maschine build into his van. so i think he has build the GX Transmission by himself.

Of it is just an electronic lockout actuated by the rider i dont see any problem lockout systems are nothing new. but everything else like an automatic lockout or maybe even an GPS activated lockout is to much in my opinion.

Best brakes in the world. I love my maxima and picolla HD. Yes they are expensive but it is worth it. And there is no wait time any more, you can just order them at german/european online shops

Has any one noticed that Ben Cathro & Aimi Kenyon in the new How to bike are riding MRP Forks. I thought the pinkbike Team is done. And the Last Season they were on Manitou.

Im not sure. I think it was more like a faster DHR2 Style tyre. There were knobs in the centerline of the tyre like on the highroller. its hard to discribe. this one looks like a cut shorty. but i could be wrong.
