If I remember correctly they talked about it in the email sent a month or so ago with timeline details for the next round of frames. I'll have to go dig and look it up, I could be remembering incorrectly though... Edit: SM and XL sizes. They said that more details will be announced before the bikes are ready. DH...

One thing to keep in mind is that thicker rotors will hold heat for longer than thinner rotors, more thermal mass will maintain temp longer with the same effective cooling... Thicker rotors won't necessarily solve the issue. Im between 195-215lbs depending on the part of the year and I have zero issue "cooking" rotors. Are you sure that the discoloration...

I re-read this post and couldn't understand what you were trying to say. Not to mention your response seems filled with unnecessary vitriol over someone just mentioning a persons name. Judging by your response I can only assume that you're harboring some deep seeded PTSD from him crushing you at the local beer league endubro. Which I do personally feel like that might be worth seeking some help for as it's never good to cary such such a burden mentally. All that besides, I'm glad you feel like Evil's 435 rear center is what you want in a size XL...

Finally got hold of a set of GR4s after years on the Tech 4 V4. As with all things Hope the build quality is a work of art. First impressions: I bled the ‘old’ way without using the bleed port because I didn’t have the adapter for the funnel yet .Hopes new bleed video gives a few new steps which seem to work good. Lever is a touch heavier throw than the v4 but much shorter throw before bite due to the new cam design. It’s still very light. Extra hook on the lever is really nice, way more secure...

The hope love has really started to come out here. I'm probably going to get them next, messed with some tech 4 v4s braided hose the other day and really liked the way they feel, super smooth but positive enough on the bite.

Ok here is my unified semi-conspiracy theory that explains the proto V10, Jackson Goldstone's bike weights, the mysterious lack of a Specialized Enduro, the development journey of the Demo, lagging enduro enthusiasm from bike companies in general, and even the Orbea Rallon. Manufacturers think that e-bikes are the future and are orienting themselves toward dedicating a majority of their efforts toward producing them. They have the following assumptions about e-bikes: -E-bikes have shown that the weight of the motor under the bottom bracket can actually play a positive role in how a bike handles. It drives the front tire into...

Have you ridden it since you got it back? I wouldn't be surprised that a loose bushing could be causing some extra binding killing some of the suppleness. Something seems wrong for how little main chamber pressure you are running... Granted I am a little heavier, 198lbs atm, but I am running 113 in the main, and 235 in the...

It is just a spring at the end of the day; they both can be tuned to do pretty similar things. I would bet you are probably stoked on the coil life more because of the Jade over the shock that you had on there before, did it replace a floatX, I've gone between both before, it's a stark difference...

Just my 2 cents, a coil shock on a true trail/all-mountain bike isn't worth the price of admission, weight. I was riding my stumpy evo with a custom tuned coil, ate chunk for dinner, I said to myself, lets add a Smashpot, and a Lift... Next thing you know my carbon wheeled carbon frame all mountain bike weighed 39ish'lbs but...
Same here, and they were not cheap by any means. I get the feeling that it's a small one- or two-man organization being done after working a regular 9-5. The struggle with small ops like this is that you don't have well vetted design reviews, initial and critical, or deep FMEA sessions that evolve over the course of a product...
I have the "new'er" Kaha's with bite point adjustment and the new seals. They sit in the bin while the T4V4's are on the bike. The Kaha's are the only brake that I will bleed at altitude >6k ft due to how much the lever feel changes when going from sea-level to elevation. I have had the brakes do a...

pretty fascinating long-form video on rubber, its origins, development, global impact etc. (non-bike related aside from mention of rubber bike tires invented in 1888) ignore the clickbait title...it's a minor part of the actual video

100% would support and beta test this. I dont think I would stop paying for strava but I would use it in conjunction without a doubt. My buddies are always taking the p*ss out of each other when it comes to segment times. Stoked to see how it evolves!
