Cavitation occurs when a pressure drop causes the local pressure to fall below the vapor pressure of the fluid. In the scenario you described, fluid was being aspirated by retracting a piston, which introduced a pressure drop due to flow restriction. At low actuation speeds, the flow rate was low enough that the vacuum generated could still draw the fluid...

I'm sorry this is pedantic but every VPP and DW link suspension design is already a four bar linkage

I'm not going to tell you how to live your life, but the Noken is way cheaper and easier than all the modifications you've already made. I thought it made a huge difference on my 180 Zeb, and when I took it off I had all the same symptoms you described (support or full travel, but never both). I think the Noken is a lifesaver for the long travel Zeb.

Is it though? I have a zeb that has zero friction in the bushings with my hub installed, it slides to bottom very freely, bushing feel really good. When running a smashpot in it I could bottom that fork all day long but still have good support, but after swapping back to air and running it I can either get...
I'm honestly kind of bummed about all this e-bike tech and innovation and the lack thereof with analog bikes. E-bike tech and GLP-1 tech both seem to be getting popular at the same time, and I wonder why...

I think it’s still just 50 a run?. I’m sure the Asia frames are incredible (I owned a raw Yalla) I still love that I have a FW welded by Frank the welder. OG FW

Bummed on the move to Taiwan mfg. Nothing against, Genio, my RAAW has incredible tolerances as well as very good looking welds, but part of the reason I wanted a FW was that it was built by FTW in the US...

Viscosity is, in shimmed circuits, completely independent. Oil viscosity only becomes a factor in low-speed orifice circuits. But that statement is true for just about every damper on the market these days.

lol yeah, most aren't 6'3" either. I think Minnaar is closest to my size of the WC guys that I have met/seen. That does bring up a good point, I have never run inserts, but I also haven't needed too with my typical Assegai/DHR2 setup. Honestly after spending $450 on TC's in less than a month the thought of spending...

Not sure if it's the casing or the volume, but I could never run enough pressure in TC's to keep the rims off rocks while still maintaining a good feel on the ground. Having spent years running DH casing Conti's, Spec's, and Maxxis, I wanted to like the Tacky Chans but they were not for me, as a 200lb hard...
That sucks! I lost a front brake with my radics last year in the most muddy, greased owl poop conditions, the kind where the rear brake did nothing due to how steep the trails were... I thought I was on the verge of death all the way down... I bought T4V4'S the following Monday lol. Granted the Radics lost all...
Don’t remember off the top of my head since that was a while ago. It was a fair but though. Only possible with a stoppie on pavement or just squeezing the levers hard just because. Although I do remember that 3500 psi was not as much as what was possible just squeezing the levers as hard as you could. If I remember right 0-1000psi was the real world range.

Correct they are thermosets, most are very, very stiff in compressive loading situations, >30ksi. Just as stiff as the aluminum caliper under similar compressive loadings. The only reason there would be impressions and deformations in the phenolic piston blocks is due to poor design leading to stress raisers that allow for point loading putting the material into a plastic deformation...

First of off, I don’t appreciate the tone. I asked ChatGPT and the FBI and SethBikeHack has confirmed. Remember that just a drop of French makes anything super French. Ask Monsieur Maples: French! Let us break it on down: Norco team is GOAAT and the SyndiSessler, so boom yeah my mix checks out LaSpecialized Gravity is Frencher than French hell oui Canyon has Fabian Barel. Aggressively French. Please feel free to lodge your complaints with the front desk, but understand that we are on ten weeks of holiday.

The public one, yes. Companies pay to have "sandboxed" AI platforms for one way use; our copilot is that way. We also have pretty strict enterprise filtration on what we can use it for, what it will answer for us. Either way its was a good way to screw around for a min lol

Who's going to use AI to enhance and extract the content from that??? I already tried with our corporate copilot, but it doesnt have the extensions for image enhancement... Smile
