I really like these tires after just one ride on them this past weekend. I live in the bay area of California, so read very dry conditions. I rode in Santa Cruz and they were so good. I was running HR3 and DHRII previously at 23 psi in the front, and 28psi in the rear. The DHX at 20psi in the front and 25psi the rear feels perfect. John Tomac is widely considered one of the greatest (American) mountain bike racers of all time. During the early years of international racing he won numerous DH and XC events. When I was a little, 5-year old kid in the 80s, I won a full-sized, red Raleigh mountain bike in a draw at the general store in my tiny, Newfoundland hometown. The old man was fucking stoked. When I saw your post about Accell Group going into insolvency, I thought Diamondback would be one of the brands listed in the insolvency agreement alongside Raleigh.
