6/9/2026 6:26am If you're ever able to get this project going, I look forward to cheering you on, enthusiastically adopting your new tech, and inviting all my friends to join the platform with me, and then later calling down curses on you and the Brines family for generations to come for the inevitable enshittification of your platform after you've sufficiently saturated the marketplace.

6/8/2026 10:46am Being an e-bike, your cassette could be worn out already or the parallelogram in your derailleur is bent. Does it have a rock rash on it?

6/3/2026 2:04pm I think there's a business case to be made for lower-cost park bikes now that many peoples' primary bikes are eMTBs. Back in the day, my cohort of friends had a trail bike and a DH bike. Later, I feel like it became an enduro bike and a lighter trail bike (aka downcountry). Now, I imagine a lot of mountain bikers' pairings will either be a park bike and an eMTB, or a XC bike and an eMTB.

6/3/2026 10:43am Good spot. Mike Curiak looks to have a Marzocchi on his Lenz 32". Different looking casting arch, however –– and his looks to have basically no tire clearance?

6/3/2026 6:32am No kidding! I sold my Izzo and I’m not really sure why. I still haven’t found anything I want to replace it with.

6/3/2026 6:32am I have a '23 Smuggler and every time I get that "new bike" itch I end up asking myself why? The Smuggler isn't perfect but it's so damn good I can't convince myself a new bike is worth it (and I'm pretty darn good at finding reasons to justify a new bike). I suspect a lot of folks are in a similar situation...

6/3/2026 6:32am As someone who, for 20+ years, got at least 1 new bike every year, I haven’t purchased a new bike in almost 3 years. I feel like 90% of bikes in the last 5 or so years have been great. So much so, that I’m actually considering buying the last gen Norco Optic as my next trail bike. Coming into 2026 I was convinced I would get a “New” full suspension frame this year. While I’m sure I’d be happy with the new Tallboy, Reya, or Ranger, it’s hard to justify the $$$$ for a new frame when I can...

6/3/2026 6:31am Man… this forum is screwed. Everything is turning crab, each new product launch is 1.25% better than the shitty unusable last generation, and now we are discussing solar capabilities on an ai bike that will more than likely be a kickstarter scam. The future looks great! 😃

6/3/2026 6:30am I’m actually pretty pumped on a short travel bike that’s NOT flex stay. Add that the reach is over 510 (finally!) And it’s CBF? And carbon and red? Damn that’s a nice bike

6/2/2026 6:47am With many brands moving away from their well-known suspension platform on the short travel bikes in place of flex stay designs, it was a relatively safe assumption these days.

6/2/2026 6:46am I'm a moron. I'm so used to short travel bikes being Flex stay, I completely forgot that the CBF is a completely different suspension design that doesn't/can't use a flex stay.
