1/21/2026 2:59pm Yes it’s legit. Take a look at HSA store and you’ll see tons of normal life stuff you can spend your HSA on. Also, Medicare will give patients about $500 a year to spend on healthy lifestyle things. My pops just got a ski season pass with it, the companies have to be qualified but it’s real.

1/21/2026 2:00pm There are a bunch of bike companies doing this now. I have seen a growing number on the road side of the market, but also a couple MTB brands. It is a legit thing.

1/21/2026 8:00am That's probably for the original DW link. DW6 (at least the dual chainz) is a very fresh patent. Also, Dave's secret sauce is not the link itself but supposedly the holistic design to the complete bike and the resulting ride quality it brings. Supposedly besides the suspension linkage the frame company also gets the whole geometry for the bike. From that standpoint it also doesn't make sense to have a stake in a bicycle company as you'd be competing against yourself essentially.

1/21/2026 7:58am Tim at Esker here. You are correct sir, it's not us. The only thing I can say is that every guess in this whole thread is flat out wrong.

1/20/2026 3:21pm To jump on this having dealt with spec'ing and getting bars to market, the 35 is stiffer than you will get out of a 31.8. Strength, at max strength 35 may be stronger, but trust me, we aren't getting near failure for either, at the end of the day, weight and flex are bigger issues for the industry than brute strength. The combo does play in. but with the increased need for better ride quality across the industry, 31.8 is very much a viable standard and what most of my riders actually want out of a bar. This includes many...

1/20/2026 12:24pm Thank god. I was shopping for bars and stems but just didn’t feel like there were enough options. This might just be the perfect one.

1/16/2026 10:53am My silliest race run ever was the also my 1st 50+ race at that National. Missed my "seeding run" & had to start 1st in class. Sky opened up just biblical as I got in the gate. Got to the 1st turn & it was glass from there down. Brick hard red clay lubed more than Bert Reynolds in the movie Striptease. I've never hit a sapling harder in my life. Launched and landed in the tree canopy down the mountain & parachuted through them to earth. 😁 On my way to re-up with USAC now.

1/16/2026 6:57am 203 and the evil spawns of 223, 226 and 246 mm rotors should die a quick death. That and all brakes going back to DOT and all would be well in the brake world.

1/14/2026 7:23am There's a lot of work to be done in studying aero for DH. Let's just hope things don't head down the same road as time trial helmets in 2025 🤣. #stupidsexyflanders
