Yeah this almost deserves it's own thread, Mert is one of THE greats and made a huge contribution to the mountain bike world that most people probably don't realise these days. On Any Sunday still holds up as one of the greatest sports movies ever, and the opening shot of Mert walking down the street with a suit then smash cuts to onboard footage of his flattrack racer is brilliant. I think you meant “kind of FUN geometry”. As a person who gets more than 100 bike park days a year, this is way more in line with how parkrats of all ages enjoy riding… ymmv

my 2 cents after spending some time on the bike is that I really want to spend more time on the bike. Spomer was LitterMag aka Gordo aka...the Hoff-maker. . He started as a hyper stoked grom photog who took blue sky pics of West Coast legends. He'd cross post on RideMonkey, MTBR & other forums to pull people in. Back when we were all hyper stoked on the sport blowing up & Spomer was by far the most positive & hyped of us all.
