Joel Alamo loves this shot, he told me its his wallpaper, not on his computer, but at his office and in his bedroom, he said he gets motivated by this shot of me without a shirt...

You can also go the route of a hose clamp. What frame and shifter are you using? The ones on Cam and Brandon's bikes were specifically designed into the frame itself and a special mount was made for their shifters. They are using Shimano or Sram road index shifters depending upon their sponsor. Jack Fogel has his set up with...

Thanks! for the gratuitius Littermag post! Yes, that bike. I like seeing the 2 different 951's next to one another, pretty cool, i would be interested to see the 6951, the 69er.

Lets all keep in mind that Intense isnt the first ones to do this. Alex Morgan at BCD was racing a 29er a few years ago, he not only built it, he actually rode his. Notice the 951 has dirty tires, the new 2951 is completely brand new. Put the 2951 under a pro rider for a weekend first before spreading it around the mountain bike sites like pictures of Niki Gudex

Fctry pretty much summed it up. Either go with something like these that you can run for a season or two, replace the bearings once a year, or go for something like a set of Hadleys that you replace the rims on as needed

That dirt is nice, but those jumps are perfect and beautiful! Very nice, you are a craftsman with the shovel and a technician with the bike. Impressed is an understatement!

Just because "everyone" has one, does not make them bad bikes. Spez is one of only a few companies offering up a complete 26" wheeled dirt jumper for less than $900

For? Which year? Which model? Why bike? What kind of riding? I have run the 2007 66RC2X and it was great for freeride, for DH, not great.

There were guys on DH bikes and guys on hardtails. I rode my Transition Double. It depends on what you plan to do. If you are looking to hit the big stuff and not spin or flip, bring a bigger bike, if you plan to spin or flip bring a short travel...slopestyle bike or a hardtail

You dont have to spend $6000 on a DH bike to get into racing and start having fun. While your Kona isnt the best race bike, it can be used as one. If you want to get serious about racing DH on a budget, look into a year old race bike or a complete bike from Specialized, Giant, Kona, or...

That is certainly a valid concern. While it will step over your $1000 price point, you can get a BoXXer Team for about $1200 and be a much better fork than the BoXXer Race. If you are racing go for the new BoXXer, freeriding or bike park riding, go Totem. I have a BoXXer WC and a Totem, they are...
