I just gotta say, as far as mtb online community contributions to the lexicon go... crab link is way better then downcountry. Feels the right amount of "inside baseball" and too far out there for the masses to absorb. Feel like this is going to be one of those if you know you know inside jokes for a long time to come. You guys should be satisfied with yourselves lol.

I don't know if the production bikes use metal or carbon "lugs" still but thats broken exactly along the lines of where the lugs were on the prototype bike. It definitely irks me this type of failure - you don't need to make production bikes that light and you are really risking your customers by not simply beefing them up a little bit or doing more/better testing. There has been far too many public breakages of these to be a coincidence and Pivot just haven't acknowledged that there is either a flaw in the design or their particular manufacturing process...

Horrible article by 'enduro mtb'. Do they not like YT lol? Calling it a 'cult brand'. Sounds like that guy from PB that comments on every YT post that they use satanic imagery and hope the brand fails. Also didn't use any official statements or information. The pinkbike article at least provides a LITTLE more to clarify... Yes, YT EU is still restructuring and seemingly going fully under Markus since he couldn't find investors. And YT US is still 'running as normal' (for now). So, to put it in the shortest words possible... Nothing actually changed. Even the pinkbike article...

You're kidding right? You haven't seen the patent applications from SRAM around motor gearbox units? Given their influence in the OEM market, there is a 0% chance they are leaving the ebike market, especially given how many electronic products they've been developing. The Powertrain motor is basically just a rebadged Brose motor, but with SRAM software. My impression is it was a way for them to start building knowledge about what works and doesn't, and collect usage data, rather than trying to take over the market.

Do you have an insanely great memory or are you drinking some serious haterade? What about Greg? He seemed to spend his last year on the syndicate vocally dissatisfied. Should norco have avoided him because of it? again in his most recent interviews I have no issue with him saying he’s more comfortable on the v10 and feels like he’s pushing for the first time in a few years. I think in a world of shills a little honesty is actually pretty nice from a fans perspective. As well as someone chasing ending their career how they want to knowing...
