2/21/2026 2:26pm Yeah, that doesn’t look ideal at all. I had much the same clearance issue on mine and ended up fitting this little number: https://finesse-components.com/products/seatstay-chip-protector-for-for… It’s been spot on so far. Keeps the paint on the frame nicely protected and helps flick the worst of the mud away from the tyre, so you don’t end up with it grinding away at...

1/28/2026 8:32am Says so in the article Neuhaus published on the Radavist a few weeks back (which is probably the same story as the newsletter): https://theradavist.com/what-people-are-getting-wrong-about-32er-wheels " A quick note on that fork. What is it? Manitou sent us a prototype 32er fork. It’s a Mattoc with leg lengthening surgery. The lowers were cut in half, sleeved, and bonded back together. Pretty genius if you ask me. Now that we finally had a “normal” 32er suspension fork to build a proper custom frame around, we felt we could fairly evaluate the wheel size."

1/28/2026 8:23am Can you see the cover in the middle of the casting? I'm sure it's a 29er fork cut in 2 (actually 3) and then stuck and bonded back together. Seen some other brands doing the same thing - not sure how reliable and stiff it it but it's something.

1/24/2026 11:11am I was genuinely intrigued and was thinking of buying one of his stems because the BMB ones are so damn expensive, but an advertisement that calls people who disagree "haters and low IQ" immediately kills any chance of sending money his way.

1/24/2026 11:03am That guy continues to strive for the asshole of the year award. Any validity of his opinion has been removed by that kneepad/short gap and that’s even before we talk about his “low IQ” dismissal of everyone who dares to disagree with him 😂

1/20/2026 11:37am Thank god. I was shopping for bars and stems but just didn’t feel like there were enough options. This might just be the perfect one.

1/18/2026 12:00pm Is it even a pivot prototype? The links and hardware look all wrong to me. Who else does DW work with? Is it a DaVinci or something ?

1/12/2026 4:15am There is a nice little spacer that can do the trick, I also used it for my SD Coil without changing the HBO - all good so far! https://finesse-components.com/products/travel-reduction-spacer-rocksho…

There is a discussion about that in the other forum ( PB ). What they did is strictly forbidden in Germany and this is why they disrespect the nearby mountains in France. I guess environmental protection and abiding by the rules does not exist for germans outside their borders. I can only say that if that happened in Germany, someone would have sent the video to the local authorities...

I'm interested to hear the full story. I love building and pushing the boundaries, However I have also dealt with an out of state dude pitching up to our local hill with no connection / context or knowledge and building + filming a line...for his social media. Wtf. This such a rabbit hole to go down but seriously!!

Hey guys the vibe might look cool at first glance - but imagine some random bike company tourist showing up in your local forest and just digging a new line because they felt like it. No context, no respect, no connection to the place. Just some a pretty, loamy forest ready for destriction... Trails don’t magically appear. It takes years to get them accepted, legalized, they’re built, maintained, and protected by locals who care. Dropping in from another country and just cutting a fresh line in a spot you don’t know? That’s not progression... that’s disrespect! For context: This is...
