7/23/2025 10:17am The grip 2 seems to choke and end up a bit harsh no matter how you set it up. Bumps just felt sharp in the hands.

7/23/2025 7:59am My 2c after three months / over 500 miles on the Essential: it feels almost too good to be true initially, but the performance of the fork doesn't degrade over time and as you get used to its slightly different feeling (and a longer offset in my case), it just rides better and better. I too have had problems with hands going numb and the Essential is giving me the best riding comfort of all forks I've ridden so far without sacrificing performance and stability.

7/23/2025 6:17am Good timing. I just bought a Flash from Intend. The tariff info is helpful also. As I've noted on this board several times, I have a lot of hand problems due to compressed nerves and damage in my elbows/hands. I took about a year off the bike and decided to try riding again, my bike came with a 36 Factory...

7/23/2025 6:00am The PUSH Industries Nine. One Specifications 150mm-170mm travel (10mm steps), 36mm stanchions, bushing overlap 145mm, coil sprung, 15mm floating axle, pneumatic bottom out control, weight 2960g, Chassis The 9.1 crown is large with massive overlap on the 44.5mm aluminum upper legs which are bonded in. Specialized developed a fully bonded alloy crown/stanchion system for the E160 fork around 2010 while I was a member of the engineering group. It is a great alternative to the traditional press fit assembly method for a fork CSU, and in some ways superior. The moto inspiration for the 9.1 design is apparent, the fork lugs...

7/23/2025 5:39am Paper products from Germany can only mean one thing, new fork day! This is the Intend Flash 35, it can be run from 160mm to 190mm. Very similar to the Edge; but with a more robust crown, longer legs, and slightly different uppers. After initial riding and then a full tear down and inspection, there will be some parallel testing with a 35mm Boxxer. Both forks will be run at 190mm of travel on a DH bike. The capability of the 170mm inverted forks at Angel Fire was so impressive that a direct comparison of a longer travel version to...

7/23/2025 5:38am Another follow up. I have now had this fork on a few rides. I texted cornelius once again about the small bump sensitivity and i got a very quick reply again. This fork was laying around for quite a while and he advised me tho loosen up the screw on the top of the air side and move the stanchions. Apparently there was fairly much air traped and it neede to go. Ever since i did this, the fork has been flawless and got a very nice small bump performance. Im very veryhappy with the purchase, lets just hope it...

7/22/2025 6:49am Not sure if the embargo ends today anyway, but you can check out the Ripley AF on youtube. Apparently the Eagle 90 spec is 4k USD and the lower tier one 3.4 k or something and geo is shared with the carbon version. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lqJBjwI8-JE The Vid also has a pic of the Ripmo AF, which looks actually pretty nice in raw alu.

7/17/2025 6:14am I don’t know about all of that I just know that the more outstretched your index finger is, the more strain there will be on your forearm. Being able to ride with that index finger curled closer to the bar reduces that strain immensely.

7/17/2025 6:14am Yeah that's brake setup 101 IMO, people who run their brakes half a mile away from their bars are cooked.

7/17/2025 6:14am Sorry but have to respond to this. Who would spend thousands of dollars on a bike from a company in self-administration? You are taking a massive gamble on warranty and even spare parts. As far as I am concerned, they are no longer a viable bike brand.

7/16/2025 2:30pm For those that aren't Porsche savvy, that's ~3-4m pictured in the two cars there. 918 Spyders go for ~1.5-2.9m (depending on package), Carrera GTs are in the 1.2-1.4m range. Admittedly, GTs have gone WAY up in value the past 4-5 years.

7/16/2025 12:08pm I've talked about my hand problems a lot, but brake setup plays a huge role. It's part of the reason I've tried so many different brakes. What I found is that brakes with a ton of power but super linear pulls (Maxima, MT7, Code mainly) don't help and/or make issues worse for me. This comes down to power delivery but...

7/7/2025 7:29am https://www.instagram.com/level_of_future/# has lots of photos/videos on them. 7/4/2025 6:27pm Level of Future has released a website that goes into more info on their Flexstab bars: https://leveloffuture.com/ Not much info on availability for the public. I've reached out, these may save riding for me, so I'm pretty anxious to get more info on when they'll be available. They look really promising for people with wrist/hand/elbow problems.
